That's funny, and also lame at the same time. Pidgey is one of the most common Pokemon, why waste time for that one in particular? Especially when your wife is having a baby, that's a seriously dumb excuse to not tend to her genuinely.

What's next? Is there going to be some other couple who will get caught up in Pokemon GO during a wedding? xD

Rock on!

You know I don't get these people. I mean there is a place and a time to play and obviously this is not one of them.

A grimer on a toilet :)

This is a combination of funny, convenient, logical, stupid, outrageous and sad at the same time.

I swear if someone found a pokemon at the bottom of a cliff, they would run off of it and try to catch it. Their chances of doing so are probably slim.

Yup but if you are in the middle of nowhere the app won't detect anything.

Unless data coverage covers it, it probably would.

If it was something like Charizard or Chansey, it would be absolutely understandable. Just a Pidgey, though? Geez, people these days...

Labor can last a long long time for some women, if they were rushed to the hospital it could be less than an hour but if it was just the beginning of labor it could be 12-13 hours or more. He could have just been taking a breather because they could have already been there for a few hours. She said she was fine with it so i doubt the baby actually came quickly after that.

They did say she was waiting to get a c-section in another part of the article, so the baby could have come quickly. They don't say anything else so we don't know if she was in labor for a while and something happened, or if it was a scheduled c-section to begin with. Either way, it's not like she was pushing the baby out when he caught the Pidgey.

I mean, you just said yourself we don't actually know a single thing about this and you guys all judge as if this was the worst father of the year. He was sitting right next to her with the phone in his hand from the picture, just trying to make time pass in a way or another. What's the big deal if he did so playing Pokemon or playing Tetris?

You guys act as if Pokemon Go is the end of the world when all of us are on a KH forum, making theories about a videogame and replaying the same videogame over and over, without going out, unlike them.
