I figure since MoM was being worked on a few years before 3 came out, and from what I know from my own digging, Nomura definitely had ideas floating around and was in talks before 2019.

Pre-development probably started after 3 came out- conceptions, pitches, all that, and work work on it probably started as soon as Remind was in a place to go gold. If I had to guess.

once ReMind reIeased deveIopment started fuII fIedged, meaning it's been in proper fuII deveIopment for 2 years
the engine switch from UE 4 to UE 5 being announced now is how they've Iearnt from KH 3, doing it extremeIy soon

Now a days average development is about 5-6 years.

With next gen consoles trying to make it easier to program, we speculate it could be cut down to to about 4-5.

Sqaure Enix was in a bad spot when KH3 started development along with FFVS13 that became FF15. Now that Square Enix is in a better spot, KH4 shouldnt take nearly as long as KH3 , it will probably be out in 2024 or something.

Nah dude. Aqua is good. She plays a major role in the plot, she goes through development, she's distinguishable by traits other than her appearance. One of my faves for a reason.

That’s what I always assumed because like all of their games were in development hell. Ever since both 15 and KH3 came out they seem to be speedier and more organized
