[spoiler]So the area with the Darkside is very likely the astral plane and not the realm of darkness. The "astronaut" looking gear are likely just similar to keyblade armors. This is probably the moment where the Scala Ad Caelum squad finds Quadratum for the very first time.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]In the available Missing Link content we got from the beta we got told that the Heartless originate from the Astral Plane and they are leaving the plane to consume hearts which would explain why the realm of darkness exists in the first place.[/spoiler]
