hello?!

I have understand it!

but again:

only because the Secret Message says this, it doesn't mean that 1.5 will come to EU (the message only says that 1.5 will come but not where it will be released!)

have you understand this?

what's your problem that you have to criticize my doubt?

The game DDD did came also out in EU...

But that doesn't really matter cause PS3 is regio free.

=> SE has to localize it in 4 more languages and 3 has to be with dub and it seems that SE doesn't want pay money for it => BbS and DDD have only English dub and DDD is missing Spanish and Italian sub...oh and Re:CoM didn't come to EU

I think I have a right to think that an EU release will be unlikely

Who cares? We can play it even if it would be just in English/USA. Import it and e voilà.

But I bet that they will sub it and that's it.

some of you may be satisfied with just a NA release (or even just the Japanese version), but not me

I want the game like it was 10 years ago: with German voices, but Square proved a lot of times that EU is not their beloved localization area

and this caused that a lot of games were complete English or not even brought to EU like Re:CoM

or remember the thing they have done with DDD: no Spanish and Italian subs (Spain had their own dub in KH I and II but in DDD not even subs)

can't you understand me? I just have no trust in SE anymore

I don't see only "I WANT Kingdom Hearts"...I see more and don't want to give SE my money for a kick in the ass...I've enough of this

First: Which other game (from Square Enix) got a German Dub here? KH only got one because it was Disney.

Second: Aside from KH1 and KH2 all the other games were for handhelds aka less money was used and less people have them.

Third: ReChain was/is for PS2 and that thingie was dieing here when it was made.

The last time I bought aPS2 game was... 2006?

Plus there are so many games here that not even got a German translation. Chrono Trigger, Tales of the Abyss, many PSP games etc. ...

I think it would be odd to just bring it to Japan.

after all KH3 will have a worldwide release,

till then fans all over the world are waiting.

It would be stupid to just have Japan satisfied till then.

I just hope it's actually released in Europe (I know you can import but really, the amount of effort and hassle i've gone through trying to get swap magic, modding and stuff to try and get RE:COM to work and just gave up when this was announced). Also, I don't think BBS would be in 2.5, in my opinion 2.5 would include KH2, Coded and DDD, KH 0.5 would include BBSFM, BBSV2 and some other story about either the early organization or something similar (if we're going with each "-.5" game would include 3 games)

Fans should realize, if KH3 is soon approaching/in development going to actually greet us soon, it makes sense for EA to re-release all the games on one system, so people who look at the series and go "Jesus Christ that's spread over a million consoles, screw that" will get it, try it, love it and buy KH3 when it comes out.

Well, it's a shame they won't fully remake days, but I guess that would be much harder to do than remaking games already for the PlayStation system. This means that coded will likely just be remade cutscenes too. And 3D might not be remade at all, unless they want to ditch the whole 3D part.

I never really cared about the HD part so much. I was just hoping they'd remake it in Final Mix form. And they did (or are going to). Woot.

But the PS3 is region-free now for all PS3 games. If it's released on disc and not PSN-only, then we could literally just order it online and pop it in our PS3.

The first 6 years of PS3 it was region free, mid-2012 they started locking a few games, first being Persona 4: Arena. Until it's been announced for PAL areas, I won't set my heart on it cause knowing my luck, they would region lock it >.>

Dude you don't have to repeat it three times, and no It's going to have Japanese cutscenes. Am I the only one who watches ScrewAttack's Hard News? But whatever, stop with your arrogance, it's annoying.

I only repeated it because I quoted multiple people who didn't know the PS3 was region-free. If I only quoted one person, then the rest still wouldn't have known.

Yeah, that would suck. I won't be surprised...But if they re-did Final Mix this time with Japanese cutscenes I won't really care that much anymore.

I did not know PS3 is region-free... But i'm from Holland so are you sure it's the same here?

Yup. The PS3 is region-free worldwide. But they DO have the option to lock certain games...Let's just hope they don't lock this one.

I feel really unlucky when it comes to KH, when I got into it and decided to get the other games, COM had been dead (like the GBA), then they were gonna remake it and I was really excited only to find out about region locking, my friends all went off it (so no one will play multiplayer with me on the psp ): and someone borrowed my KH1 and never gave it back...

So I can just see it being released in only America and Japan, simply to spite me, just me, no one else....

And to top off my mood now, I just poured boiling hot water (for my mothers coffee) into my favourite cup/large sports bottle and it's gone all melty and askewed..):

Reading the update on the homepage got me thinking. Ive thought about this before when discussing a possible HD remaster. Since theyve decided to bring full japanese voicing to even the extra cutscenes in japan i imagine its possible they will do the same for english when they get there. And if that is the case then its possible that the whole game could be re-voiced using Haley's new 'young sora' voice as well as getting Epcar to revoicing Ansem to make it more uniform with his other appearances in the series. (even though i loved Billy Zane i would much rather uniformity) I hope all of this is the case.

Edit: Not to mention getting Paul St. Peter to actually talk during the Xemnas fight.

Edited by TerraRedeemed

If Square planned to only have it released in Japan, the European and American versions probably wouldn't have translated the secret messages hinting at an HD collection. If Square was smart, they probably would've removed it, but then again, maybe they just didn't. I'm kinda confident it'll come to other countries besides Japan though, just my opinion.

That's a good point I hand't thought of. It doesn't really make sense that they would hint at the collection in the non-Japanese versions if they didn't plan to release it in other regions

I hope they can make a German voicing ... I really like the german version in KH1 and KH2. If they'll make a whole new one in germany, then Leon has to get a new x: his voice actor died few years after KH2.

That unfortunate :( Squall is one of my favorite characters of all time. my respect definitely goes out to those who voiced him in any local.

So is this actually going to include the Days Game, with only improved HD cutscenes, or simply just cutscenes on a disc, with KH1 and Recom?

I think the full japanese voicing will be the same audio from the Japanese version of the original, and they'll just record a few new lines for the extra cutscenes. Revoicing the whole thing seems kind of excessive.

And while I'm all for continuity/uniformity, I am decidedly not in favor for rerecording the original voices. I really don't mind that Haley Joel Osmet's voice changes, and I actually preferred Billy Zane's voice as Ansem's Heartless. New/altered audio isn't a dealbreaker for me, but I'd rather they keep as much of the original intact as possible.

Just the cutscenes in a Theater Mode, not the full game.

Forget it, I'm not getting it then. I'm just gonna buy a DS and days.

Nah I doubt they would do that. They'll just use the same english audio like they did in the original FM. They just used old Sora lines from earlier in the game.

Yes i know, what im saying is that if they revoice for english extra scenes they could just as easily fix some other areas, not necessarily the whole thing.

edit: im just saying it would be cool. i dont claim to know what is on their minds. like i said, i like uniformity.

I think they should do what they did with Silent Hill HD Collection. With the different voice acting, it should give it a slightly different feel. I mean, HJO has run his course, I say we bring someone different.
