Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5 ReMIX- trailer released in HD 720p

2 new games. New HD-fied cutscenes for Days. Can't wait for those HD cutscenes DChuich and co.!

Looks like they cleaned up some of the rough patches in the original (smooth motions and much improved textures), My only fear with a Western release is that Square is going to troll everyone and give us the American version of KH1 instead of Final Mix (of course not that huge of a difference in this case but it would set a bad precedent regarding the Final Mixes considering KH2FM makes KH2 a heck of a lot better). Other than that I'm looking forward to replaying these two games

Seeing that scene in the trailer made me want to play Days again. ANd that's pretty funny because here I am playing it right now all because of that one remade scene lol.

KH1 (my favorite game ever) with reaction commands and updated graphics...I think I may have passed out a while after draining all my body's water by happy tears. ;v;

Your right. They must be streamlining the controls a bit. What surprises me the most is that there's only three sections to the command box, instead of the usual four. Does anyone know what the new options translate to?

 

They remapped the 4th command to the Triangle button like KH2 did.

 

Here's a picture I managed to get of the new commands. I'm guessing the RC is one of KH1's limit attacks.

 

 

 

If they did this, there might be a chance of other things getting fixed. If they move the camera to the right stick, I will be happy...

 

Edit: I just checked. The RC is "Arukanamu" which translates to Arcanum.

I seriously doubt it, it would take MORE effort to remove the content than it would to jsut keep it

Fairly certain it's the exact same stuff from KH1 (Attack, Magic and Items) and they just removed the examine option and made it a triangle affair

I'm theorizing that they are using Re:CoM's engine (Which is Roxas' engine in KH2, it's basically a smoother KH1 engine)

Yeah, it's just cutscenes from Days (Including new scenes that were text before) and they show up in Theater Mode

Holy crap, so it's not just the original cutscenes from Days, but a bunch of new ones too? I've changed my mind, I want this. The quality is amazing, and if the events of Days are taken and made into cutscenes then it's kind of like a mini movie, only so much better.

im so glad that they are keeping the current graphics style for the series, never did want it to become realistic and it looks better this way, although slightly more detailed textures would be welcomed

I was expecting all scenes in CGI manner (like the KH openings and endings). But still, everything was soo clear!

That Days scene!!!!

The trailer looks a bit better on the official website. But anyway, GOT DAM! This looks absolutely marvelous. It's just... wow. Can't put how awesome it is into words. The wait for me to own this will be a long and terrible one indeed, yet filled to the brim with insatiable hype.

 

Also, could the new Days cutscenes indicate what KH3 will look like?

Looks great. I wish they could have fixed *shudders* the cube fingers each character has, but I guess that would probably be more difficult than it sounds like it should be.

 

Also, I just know I am going to have to watch all the HD Days scenes. There is no way I'll be able to resist, heck, I am about to watch the trailer again just to see that one scene.
