Boxart for Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5 ReMIX- revealed

I knew they wouldn't rehash the KH1 soundtrack art for this. Original Nomura artwork FTW! The 358/2 Days and Chain of Memories parts near the top are the best, but Sora looks boss in his throne on the bottom too.

I definitely thought of GoT when I saw the cover, too. It looks like a really blatant reference but I still can't imagine what reason there'd be.

Square Enix devs have been watching GoT... Lol

The throne is just badass.

OK this is pretty much the perfect boxart. The innocence, friendship, fantasy, warmth and adventure of Kingdom Hearts are captured here perfectly. Kairi playing with Sora's crown is a sweet touch and Sora looks like a BAWSSS on that throne. Nomura...you have amazed me yet again.

The box art has always been the same internationally, I think the only one that was different was the KH1 box art but they they just changed the colors.

No, I don't think any changed happened between any box art of any of the games, so I wouldn't worry about it they won't change the box art of this game

For some reason KH1 was the only one that was changed internationally, but no, I highly doubt they will change the box art for the international version of 1.5 as well. 

The box art for the Japanese version looked like this:

I love the kingdom hearts 1 final mix but the other 2 could use some work. I think that it should be side by side for final mix and re:chain of memories. Final mix is fine. just scoot it over and add Sora and Riku running up stairs with mickey and Namine at the top of them and for 358/2 days put Roxes, Xion and Axle at the top of the clock tower looking at a beautiful sunset all across the top. That will be my ultimate boxart. P.S. If you can find a better look for rechain of Memories please be my guest and post. any ideas are better than none.

As the post above me shows, the image of Sora on a throne predates both Game of Thrones AND Noctis.

But firetruck that logic shit. It's a goddamn Game of Thrones reference.

Brace yourself, 1.5 is coming.

I can already tell this is going to be amazing! and to think its only the beginning!! ... only thing im worried about is the price with such great content...comes such great cost.

Haha wow my prediction on the box art was almost dead on. NICE. I can't wait to copy it and hang it on my wall. Hopefully you can get a pre order bonus like wallpaper or something.
