An old tweet from May 23rd on Karissa Lee Staples's official Twitter account points to the actress being behind the voice of Master Invi in the movie Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover, contained in the HD collection Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. The tweet shows a message directed at Skylark Sound Studios. The picture in the tweet reveals a blurred still of what seems to be a scene from Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover, apparently featuring Master Invi, the Foreteller of the Anguis union, facing the figure of Master Aced, the Foreteller of the Ursus union, who has his back turned to the viewer. You can view the tweet below as well as a close-up of the still, which was not featured in the

of the game.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is due to be released worldwide on December 2016 for PS4. It will feature the return of Willa Holland as Aqua in Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage-, as well as previous voice recordings from other actors in the remastered game Kingdom Hearts HD Dream Drop Distance. The HD collection is in the final stages of production, with voice recordings for the English dub "almost done" as mentioned by series director Tetsuya Nomura in his latest interview with Famitsu.

Huh. Weird, considering all the Japanese Foreteller voices seem to be repeat VAs. Wonder why they would break from tradition and not have them match up in English? Or maybe the Japanese VAs just sound close to the originals, much like the English ones sound pretty close.

I've never heard of them, but they did a great job voicing Invi and Gula! :D

And so we welcome two new members to our beloved cast. I can't wait to see who the rest of the cast are. X3 <3

They don't ring any bells but like with Michael Johnston who I'd never heard of before -Back Cover, they've all done pretty good jobs of the characters they're trying to portray.

The rebirth theory is looking less likely now.

The rebirth theory is looking less likely now.

not necessarily? the foretellers could be older versions of the "present day" characters, hence the need for the voice changes, or the English version could have wanted to avoid such blatant similarities. or the English VAs could have lacked the exact tone that the Foretellers need to have. I can't speak too much for the Japanese VAs, but they did seem to support the theory in sounding nearly identical to the original actors.

I do think it's notable that while these are new voice actors, they do bear some very close similarities to the present day characters, and since Kevin and Karissa are more no-name/rising actors (as opposed to any of the very popular anime/game VAs who are commonly used in everything else these days), it's obvious KH went out of its way to get those voices in particular.

or, actually, let me put it this way: reincarnation doesn't mean copy/paste. If you look at other games and anime, reincarnated characters don't always resemble their original entirely (Legend of Zelda, for instance). there's a chance that the Foretellers could have their own voices and faces and just have striking similarities to the other characters that make the tie clear without it being a direct copy.

that's just my two cents though. xD

Well, Kevin G Quinn is a Disney Channel related celebrity who is also a musician... just like Jesse McCartney. :P I'd say for Gula at least, reincarnation is looking good in a way xD

jk jk But I'm eager to see how this plays out.

Ooh, sweet!  Thanks for this bit of news, Aquaberry!  So, we've got three voice actor names for three of the Foretellers!  That just leaves Ira and Ava! I wonder who voices them!? :O

I can't wait to find out! :D
