Really, you can't comprehend how a game that shameless panders to the ill-thought "dark & gritter=inherently superior" mindset starring a a one-shot character who should've stayed a one-shot despite having an undeserved overblown fanbase could end up backfiring? Well the game itself had pretty boring level design, obnoxious mission objectives ("Where's that DAMN final enemy in the 1st level?"), the worst bosses in the entire series (there's just no sense of flow & pace to any of them), horrendous dialogue & general absence of common sense (Why on MobiusEarth should Amy care that I'm destroying Egg Pawns? She ruthlessly slaughtered them en masse in past games!) & for being a "darker" game, the retcon at the end actually made SA2 less dark IMO. But even if it weren't for the technical design flaws the general attitude behind it's very existence just irks me. Granted the Sonic series has always for kids but in this instance Sega catered to the kind of kid who thinks anything that isn't an M-rated shooter is too "kiddie" for them.

-Light & Darkness as sources of power? -Pointy eared, dark-skinned main villains with a knack of cheating death? -Common shapes taught to preschoolers becoming key iconography for their lore? -Main heroes who have like a ton of alternate versions of themselves? -Including 1 life as female? Having only 2 games per disc shouldn't make it an issue for a 360's DVD-9. There should've also been a Wii U version as well.

So here's an idea I had for KH on Wii U: I've always wanted drop-in co-op in a console & Wii U makes it possible to do this without resorting to splitscreen. Player 1 uses either a pro or classic controller to play on the TV while the 2nd & 3rd players have their own screens on the gamepads. I suppose technically the same thing could be achieved on PS3 with Vita & 360 with Smartglass but Wii U would be the cheapest way to do it.

So Walt created Mickey Mouse in his place. The rest as they say is history: Mickey became a cultural phenomenon while Oswald disappeared into obscurity. Around 2004-06 the Disney corporation finally bought back the rights to Oswald. The 2010 Wii game Epic Mickey marks Oswald's formal return, playing on the real-life history to depict him as ruler of a kingdom populated by forgotten Disney characters & resentful of his more famous "brother".

Dark skin/yellow eyes/pointy aren't exclusively Xehanort traits. They're traits of darkness in general. Nomura probably took inspiration from Disney villains in designing the common aesthetics of dark-based characters, hence why said Disney villains have those traits.
