I think it's worth noting that being a Xehanort doesn't necessarily mean they're one of the 13 darknesses. It's entirely possible they're just a gambit by Xehanort to move things into place for something he wants to happen.

Xion is based on Sora's memories, she doesn't exist in any capacity right now. Presumably Namine will have to do something to draw Xion out

It'd be really easy to work the first star wars in by having the gummi ship pulled in the death star's tractor beam but recently people have been pitching me on the idea of a world based on the clone wars TV show and now I kinda want that

It'd be interesting structurally but I don't think people would tolerate the filler that comes with a VN style game like that. Days alreayd felt blaoted and it didn't have a mission per day

Man VS13 really did a number of Nomura's reputation despite having no other problematic development stories at all. KH3 they had to change engine and Square Enix had him announce it too early now everyone thinks he's some incompetent developer that can't get games out the door

KH3 taking on any traits from FFXV is a nightmare, and a valid concern. I really hope the game's success isn't destructive to Square Enix's perception of what state they can release their games in

I feel like I have to pop in every now and then to remind people that text cutscenes are great because they're far less limited than voiced scenes. Voice acting has to be locked in after a certain point, but you can always change text. This is why the DS KH games and the original Chain of Memories have the best writing in the series

The game already has less characters than Duodecim, and frankly characters like Tifa and Gilgamesh are more important

I don't care how messy the story is, KH hasn't had a simple and clean story since CoM. I think people can take some sanctuary in the fact that KH3 is definitely not gonna just assume every player knows everything from every previous game, but it's annoying that we're dealing with developers that don't think twice before making a mobile game a vital part of the story. And that's my issue. KHUX is an incredibly dull gatcha mobile game.

No, no Incredibles this time. We already have Big Hero Six but Edna Mode should be in KH3 as the creator of keyblade armour and then she says "No capes"

KH3 will summarize everything. They've been careful to not have Sora be aware of what happened in most non-numbered KH games. Re:Coded is definitely not as irrelevant as originally thought, with the nature of the Book of Prophecies, and it being Maleficent's goal to some capacity

DDD has a lot happen near the end, but nothing that can't be summarized quickly. It's a lot more about bringing things to a head than things actually happening
