I'm not at all worried with Osaka developing KH3. My only real comment is that I think you may be thinking too highly of kh2 (although I agree with your specific examples). Worlds like Atlantica and Pride Lands had nothing to do with the overall plot, and those worlds with the organizations involvement I would argue to be a bit contrived. I'm not saying I don't have a bone to pick with the other games too (except kh1 my precious) but Osaka's games have been just as good as the "KH Team's" games in my opinion.

I'm sort of hoping for a ps4 port of these remasters, partially so they can come out sooner for my eyes and partially so I won't have to buy both a ps3 and ps4 to play the remasters and kh3.

California had a breakout a couple weeks ago so I got ya. One of them burned just up to the campus of the school I'm going to next year, but stopped right there. I hope Colorados fires goes better (or worse... eh you get the idea).

Make KH3 for X-box one, ps4, and wii u. Forced to have graphics on level with the wii u, which is about the same as the 360 and ps3. People buy a seventh generation quality game for an eighth generation console. Bad reviews. Bye bye profits. Quality over quantity (quantity being the "extra" sales with the wii u)

I don't see why Tidus's laugh is anthologized so much when this is in the game. If this is kept it should be a platinum trophy.

Lighting Returns looks like the most polished game? The HD FFX shots looked as good as the new trailer. That should be impossible so I'm sure there was just something funky with my video of it, but this was the case with the earlier trailer so... I would call the XIII series a good modern number of the final fantasy series, but nothing worth excessive praise. The first game wasn't bad because it was linear. The first game isn't even a bad game, but what was bad about it was how they were lazy with it being a linear game. In any one area the same passage would be passed thirty times over before the end of the level was reached making for a short lived experience of exploration. The second game immersed me in a whole new experience, and had a pretty choppy transition into this new chapter. "L'cie," "Dysely," "coup de etat" "time travel".... wait what? As much as I am a sucker for mythology xiii-2 sort of felt like it BS'd me with all the time travel who knows what is going on. My last criticism I would hardly consider to be subjective. The DLC is such a rip off. So you have to buy a game, and then four months later buy its ending? I mean really, let a game's income stand on its merits, not on a cheap system of generating revenue. I will still buy LR because I probably will still have fun with it, but I'm sure a fair number will have been hooked by this ending. Also, why do you call Versus XIII and Type-0 spin offs? Don't go making me think they have anything in common aside from the mythos.

Tough question. To be honest, I don't see the remasters changing the fan base all to much. Ironically with it being on the ps3 I'd bet it would bring in more casual players than anyone who simply never bothered to buy all the handheld games and find some intrest in it. A large part of what I considered the fandom experience is theorizing about the next games coming up, and as much as there is to theorize on KH3, it has spread itself thin. What I mean by that is that there are a lot of little unresolved mysteries, but none has very much ground to theorize on. The three games after kh2 seemed to me to be the highpoint of this. Ahh, Xion is Aqua's nobody, good times... The game I think that will really change the fan base will be kh3. It seems a lot of people just want to see how the Xehanort saga will end. It started for me back when I was in second grade with the original and now I'm going to college. It sort of feels like its time to move on. At the same time, I bet a number of the "KH3-whiners" for lack of better words will jump back into the series.

True, I guess then its only that I don't think that KH3 will be that revolutionary for the company. I knew Nomura already had those Ideas inside his head, I was just saying he could be getting into a bit finer detail.

Hmm, I'd imagine also that KH3 would have much higher sales than the other games because of the sheer hype about the game, but I think this would make it more of a hit or miss game for the company. On the one hand it could be a really expansive project, with not the best results, such as FFXIII, or it could simply rack up tons of cash as we expect. Versus XIII seems to be in the same situation. If square had been doing better off I would imagine they would be a bit more lacks with the sales of their NA targeted games. I don't think that a single game will be the saving grace of the company. It would have to be multiple games to make up for the multiple games that did less than satisfactory and they are changing management to do that. As far as working on KH3 now both the Osaka Team and the KIngdom Hearts Team have their hands full, but I don't see why Nomura can't write up the storyboard for the game and do that sort of work.

And would Microsoft really be that ignorant to peoples privacy (read: could they be that stupid)? Thats what I'm questioning. I haven't looked so thoroughly into it so I don't know. Edit: Come to think of it there is no way they could be that stupid. Taking video recordings and sending it in to Microsoft? Not only would that be an incredibly inefficient, but nobody would buy it if it really did that. It still seems to me that such criticisms are (mostly) baseless.

I feel the same way about the PS3, but since this thread is about the x-box I guess I should make a comment on that. Is all the data microsoft is collecting really that bad? Is it even collecting as much data as is described? It all seems like a fad among critics and these forums to get on this feature of the x-box one. I'm just going to wait until some real reviews start to hit the mainstream.

It has been confirmed since kh1 that Xehanort sent Kairi into the sea of worlds sometime before all of that, but as for the other characters, it could be anything. I like to think that Kari's Grandmother just faded away. As for the non-important citizens, maybe some of them were brought back to life in the same way much of Organization XIII was. Cannon reason for NPC's to populate Radiant Garden? I think so.

I haven't seen any other translations of that scene for six years, so I get the feeling that the fragmented/wordy sense of the grammar is just meant to add to the effect. But I didn't translate it so I couldn't say for sure.
