FYI. If you see a DenizenofTwilight on Tumblr, that's no longer me! Some asshole is stealing my accounts and, like, making fun of my opinions on them while pretending to me. If you come across this person IGNORE THEM IMMEDIATELY!!! I'm... I'm so mad! And this is the second time they've done this, too! I'm getting scared, guys. This person is like personally stalking me, and I have no idea why! I don't think I ever even interacted with them, and I'm nothing but cordial and nice to everyone. I don't... I don't know what to do.

And on the topic about Kh1 Kairi, I do think she's pretty! She looks like Xion, in fact (and Naminé, body wise), I just don't think the graphics back then did her much justice. They were a bit too stiff looking. For instance, she looks a lot better in the new 1.5 official art, where her hair looks almost fluffier somehow. I also think the color choices they gave her in 1 might not have worked that well together for some reason. I think it might have washed her out,maybe, because the colors she wears in II make her look a lot lovelier. (Even if I prefer the style of the 1 outfit.) Yeah... But, anyway. Kairi ftw. She's one of my favorite characters in the series, actually (she always has been, as I've been with the series from the beginning and have therefore known her for twelve years now), and here's hoping she gets more love from the series and fans both after III:)

By the way, this is not me hating on Kairi! I'm probably the biggest Kairi fan ever, and love her to pieces, but there's no denying that SE somewhat... shifted how they treated her in KHII. But then again, the entire tone of the series shifted after KH1 and CoM, so... That's still up for debate, tbh, but I didn't mean that her and Sora are a couple. I meant that the game treated her like a shounen would treat the protagonist's girlfriend: she was a damsel in distress, pushed to the side at the end of the game for seemingly no reason, had an attire and sex up; SE made fully modeled panties for her, that the players have found a way to look at; the hair flip that she does, her girly run, and the fact that she's so committed to Sora (even if they are just friends), etc.

KHII Kairi's better visually (though I did like her outfit in KH1 was better, as it's more like what an islander would wear). But as for personality and stuff... I've got to go with KH1. I really liked her snark and tomboy attitude in that game. In the second game, she's a bit more somber. Understandable, since she'd been without her two best friends for about two years--with no idea whether they were okay or not--but I miss that fire. Here's hoping it's back again in KHIII, now that she's had the chance to spend some time with the boys again. Also... she had more of a presence in KH1. She was the main driving force in that game, and even when she wasn't in scenes, I still felt her involvement there. KHII treated her more like the girlfriend in a shounen anime, which is sad to me. They also treated her more fanservice-y in that one. (But that was the time it was released in. KHII came out during the height of Naruto, and things like that, so it's only natural that that's the most shounen feeling game of the series, but still.)

This is all I've ever wanted in my life. OMG. I'm like crying tears of joy now. The novels are just amazing and shed so much light onto things (and are even third tier canon, almost)... So now to hear that I'll finally get to own them and read them all (at least the KH1 ones)... It's a dream come truly, really. OMG. This is like the best day ever. No joke. All that Yen Press and SE pestering finally paid off. Woot!

You're a person after my own heart, dan. Great job! And I actually favorited this on dA before I even saw it here. LOL. I, too, made stuff for SoKai Day, as that day's better than Christmas for me, and I really hope you continue to make stuff for them! You're a lovely artist who really seems to understand their dynamic, and we can always use more SoKai in the world, so epic job! Keep it up.

I think this is meant to be a joke, right? If that's the case, then: yes. They all did fail the MoM, since they all reside in Sora's heart atm;) Seriously, though: Sora and Roxas are not the same person. Roxas grew his own heart during the course of 358/2 Days and became his own self. In fact, Roxas would never have even had to return to Sora--as neither one of them would have been incomplete--if he hadn't absorbed the memories that Naminé messed with during CoM. They could have coexisted, otherwise (the same can be said for Xion coexisting with Sora and Roxas). Xion is also not the same person as them, since she, too, has her own heart. And she was always really different from them. At the beginning of Days, she was blank slate--and could have been anyone or anything at that point--but as she began absorbing Sora's memory of Kairi, and other memories as well, that informed her appearance. But she did become her own person and will come back as such. (Also, though I doubt most people would think this, she's not the same person as Kairi or anything like that.) Ventus has always been his own person, so no question there. Vanitas is his dark side, and we'll have to see (maybe) if he ever attains his own heart and separates from Ven, or if something else might happen. (I also feel the need to specify that Ven and Roxas are not the same.) And Naminé--though created from Sora, and Kairi's Nobody--also has a heart and her own existence. She's also always been an anomaly for a Nobody, and is really hardly one at all: that's just the best thing they have to classify her as. (Also, she's not in Sora's heart, but rather Kairi's atm, so I question how she got brought up in this conversation...) So in the end, most of these people (except for maybe Vanitas) are their own separate people. And when they come back in KHIII, Sora's losing the MoM won't affect their status. . If they happen to wield Keyblades, and want to take the Mark of Mastery, I'm sure Yen Sid would be all for it... Edit: And Sora's failure will not affect Kairi at all. We all know they're two completely different people. . And in any case, she probably will be taking the Mark of Mastery during III... Maybe. But if nothing else, she's training. And if we're to continue this joke, we must also talk about Neku, Shiki, Rhyme, and Joshua: who were all in Sora's heart/dream of Traverse Town in KH3D. And Riku was in Sora's heart all throughout DDD. Gosh, why didn't Yen Sid fail him?! Data Sora is also a thing.

Tales of Vesperia, Kingdom Hearts I.5, and Disney Princess Enchanted Journey (mainly because it's very similar to Kingdom Hearts). Those are all I can think of atm...

I assume you mean anime only? If so, this is probably the best anime music video I've ever seen. I also like how choppy it is because A) It doesn't spoil things, because you won't be able to tell what's going on if you've never seen the movie. B) It echoes the mind screw that is Rebellion, as well as Homura's mental state at that point.

They're pretty close to canon, though, as they're overseen by Nomura more than the manga is. They also explained that a Heartless and Nobody being destroyed would bring back the original Somebody before the games even did (as well as other things like that). And if I remember correctly, the writer of the novels might have actually helped write the scenario for Days... But don't quote me on that. But, yeah. I was mainly joking, anyway, so... just ignore this post, I guess?

But... Roxas and Naminé are twins. I kid. I kid. Don't bite my head off (but in all seriousness, Naminé does call Roxas her "twin Nobody" in the novels, but I do think that whole argument is very flawed; for one thing, people are made out of Light and memories in KH, rather than flesh and blood, etc). And I have seen this image before and happen to love it to bits:D Imo, annria2002's one of the best fan artists out there. Everything she makes is just so beautiful and has so much detail and accuracy... ...And KH has been in development for so long, that Roxas and Naminé really could have had twins in that amount of time. You're so right about that, Keyblader_95;)

I still say they're working the scenario that was originally meant to be BbSV2 into this and that's what it is.

You all are forgetting one crucial point to all of this. It wasn't the hearts of random children that rebuilt the lost world and became the new Kingdom Hearts: it was the Princesses of Heart. And we all know that Kairi is one of them, of course. That whole thing adds a crucial weight to just what Kairi's grandmother is telling her. Perhaps she sensed or knew that Kairi was one of the Seven Pure Lights, and kept telling her the story so as to prepare her for her destiny? And if Kairi's grandmother did somehow know that it was her granddaughter, the questions is how. Not even Xehanort and Maleficent realized that the last remaining Princess that they had yet to find was her that fast. Calling it now: Kairi's grandmother is Xehanort and Eraqus' Master. Kidding. Mostly... But seriously. I really do think that Kairi's grandmother knew that Kairi was one of the ones who had rebuilt the lost world, and if so that's a MAJOR plot point that may or may not be touched upon in the future (perhaps in the new Re:Coded scenario that's adding back stories or whatever). Kairi's whole back story really has been underplayed very much so far, which is odd since it's rather important to a lot of what's happened. Personally, I think it's been saved last for a bigger purpose, and that we might finally be learning about it all soon.

No Before Crisis? I mean, I know the game never came out anywhere besides Japan. But I have heard that there are ways you can possibly download it to play it. It would been in Japanese, though, of course. Anyway, I don't really need the Completionist to review Before Crisis (though it would be awesome if he did!); these other reviews will be more than enough. I'm just mainly listing Before Crisis here because my OCD wouldn't leave me alone if I didn't let people know that that game exists. Feel free to ignore me. Shutting up now... -goes to watch videos-

In all seriousness, you can ship whatever you want. I sometimes ship crazy things for the laughs, too (like Zuko and Homura, but also more sane things: like Joshua and Rhyme from The World Ends With You, and even more sane: Riku and Naminé). However, there's a line that you shouldn't cross. You have to realize what you want will never happen, and respect what is canon. Also, you shouldn't force it down peoples' throats, or get mad at them if they don't like it and prefer canon. Otherwise you're deluding yourself. I'll never forget the time that I said I liked Tidus and Yuna and someone seriously yelled at me and told me that Tidus belonged with Tifa. People these days... (by the way, this hate's not directed at you PrincessHeart; just the crazy shippers who can't separate fact from canon, and seriously think whatever random thing they say should go, and who want to burn down SE or whatever for not seeing the "beauty of their cracky ships").

Hmm... I like the idea a lot, as since a lot of casual fans will be playing the game again... Well, they're going to need to be brought up to speed. I don't know how I feel about it being Ventus, though. I don't know how he'd know all of this stuff, but I guess it doesn't matter that much. Personally, I always imagined the game's opening to be an "amv" type thing (like BbS, KH1, KHII, and 3D's all were), but with Kairi's training. Basically, I imagine it showing off Kairi's training as well as recapping the series. For instance, there could be a flashback to when Roxas fought Axel in KHII, and used the Reaction Command where he pushed off the wall err... fire with his feet, and then it could flash to Kairi trying a similar move against someone in Yen Sid's tower or something. IDK. I just really want to actually see Kairi's training (as well as more flashbacks from the whole series), and I think it'd be cool if we could get it all in CG. Especially the epic fight scenes. LOL.

There's also two Rikkus:) The KH series actually has a lot of characters with the same names in it, or characters who could. Like if The Cheetah Girls were ever in it (not that it will, and no one ever wants it to be, anyway) there would be two Aquas then. Yeah...

Yes, yes, a million times yes. They have so, SO many things to fit in the game and I really doubt they can do it all in a satisfying manner, tbh. I know, at least in some way, this game's going to be a disappointment because there's been so much hype, and so many years for us to come up with our own endings. It's never going to be able to live up to that. I think the real question is what am I NOT worried about in KHIII. LOL. I'm worried that they're not going to develop Kairi at all and leave her as a plot device, that the gameplay's going to be like II's again, that the Disney worlds will be handled badly again, that it'll have poor scripting and OOC-ness like KHII did, that Pete and Maleficent will continue to be laughable, that it'll have some really stupid and cheap ending, that the story will feel disjointed if they put different character scenarios in it, etc.
