The developers likely don't really know how to make it work best, so it's just easier to prioritize worlds that they have solid ideas for. You only get so long to develop a game.

Yes. This has bugged me in every game after 2. Everyone except for Mickey, his friends,Pete and Maleficent have been demoted quite painfully. Mind you, I'm not even that much of a Disney fan. (If you're wondering how someone like me would have even get interested in the series, My sister had me try the 2nd game many years ago and I found I liked it.)

Considering most of the "cutscenes" (No, not the CG clips) in days were unvoiced and in-engine, they would probably have to make a ton of new scenes to make something even remotely coherent, both in visual consistency and plot. It'd be pretty hilarious if they didn't though.

In-story, It would be redundant as Riku can harness darkness in tandem with light with no adverse effects after he was purged of Notsem. In terms of game design, the developers probably didn't know what to do with it after CoM. I imagine that's also the reason why Drives haven't been used since 2. Notice how every game seems to replace or modify a lot of mechanics as opposed to adding new ones on top of the old. (Drive forms->Command Styles-> Riku's Dream eater combos), (Static abilities->Panels-> ability crystals -> Dream Eater skill trees) (Combo Finishers->Limit Breaks->Command Style Finishers-> Sora's Dream Eater Combos)

If it was based off of Zero mission or Super Metroid yes. The original has aged very badly though.

It's Milky Way Wishes: The Game. It was alright. It was somewhat disappointing considering how long it was in development, (yes, I know they were experimenting with stuff, that does not change how I feel) but it could have been much, much worse.

I have a copy of Sonic '06. I didn't think it was quite as painful as it looked, but it's still disappointing. Don't work for a publisher that rushes your games, kids.

I've made a handful of people ragequit. I play cooperative games mostly, so I usually only make people irritated by killing too many enemies.
