It's been awhile so I don't remember what it was, but something about it made me stop watching around the time the interrogation scene began (about like 5-8 minutes in I think?)I'll probably give it another try but watch it with someone else so that I don't feel tempted to give up.

I've played Rising Sun and Awakening, but that's it. I'm looking at the two of them right now, and everything is saying Conquest has a much deeper story, but is the hardest game in FE history. Birthright is easier, but has a more shallow story.

Also, I believe you don't need both Birthright and Conquest for the Revelations DLC. It's only recommended to play Revelations as last because I heard it spoils a few important plotpoints from the other routes.

What I might do is

Buy Birthright, watch all Conquest cutscenes/barracks interactions, and then get the DLC.

Honestly, all I need is Sony and Nintendo consoles to be happy! Computers just seem too complicated for me. I much prefer gaming on my TV and being able to play anywhere on the go. Heck that is why the Nintendo Switch is like the holy grail to me because it lets me have the freedom to play on the TV or on the go and play the same game both ways. So really the Switch is life to me!

I've never played a Kirby game before so would you say this is a good introduction to it?

It's a good game, yeah. My personal favorite is the sequel, Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, since it's less linear, but nightmare in dreamland is fantastic too.

On another note, that is really saddening to hear about your dad. : ( It sort of sounds like my family who would accept no other religion or possibility of practice besides their own. Again, it's one thing to have your own ideas, but my problem comes in when they are forced upon adults who can make their own choices.

If there is one thing that we can take away from this, it's this: respect. Respect for others beliefs and for other people in general. Christians are taught to do that and those that don't are lacking and missing the point of the faith. Respect will lead to tolerance. Being a Christian and adhering to the faith includes not enforcing their faith on others. That isn't what they are taught and that isn't what they do nor are supposed to do. It's an example like what Shard me...

...mentioned that Christians are stereotyped. Politicians have religious liberty too. Please understand that acting out the faith in public does not mean the faith is enforced on others. Christians are taught to love their neighbor and respect others. They are also taught to adhere to their faith. You can act out your faith in public whether politician or not and not impose it on others.
