That was an experience, to say the least!

I always imagined it was because Naminé was the nobody of only a part of Kairi's heart (the part that was in Sora when he decided to stab himself); also, this combined with the fact that Kairi's heart is pure light, so that when it was 'unlocked' or whatever you want to call it, the other half didn't get turned into a heartless, so Kairi got to keep both her memories and her appearance, which is usually what turns into 'nobodies' as far as all the other org. members go.

The reason some people complain about Sora not looking at Kairi's charm and whatnot is because it seems he's forgetting all of the things that made him the Sora we all know and (most of us) love. In KHII, even though he knows Kairi is safe and he's now on a mission to find Riku, Sora is still reminded of her (like in Land of Dragons and whatnot), which shows his character's depth. This is one of my main issues with 3D; both Sora and Riku seem quite 'flat' in my opinion. I mean, Sora was always overly-cheerful and corny at times, but he had enough moments of weakness to make him believable. Same with Riku, in 3D, it seems like he's too nice and good. I mean, even before he was possessed in KHI, Riku teased Sora as if he were his younger brother, and I feel that that dynamic was really lost in 3D. Oh well, I can only hope that they take their time with KH3 and make it a spectacular end to the series!

So, with the announcement of KHIII, I've decided to give my long-standing-yet-never-completed KH character map project another go. Everytime I try to do this, I start with the main characters, but this time I decided to switch things up and start with Zexion. Kinda rushed, so it's not the cleanest/best I could do, but for its purpose I think it'll be fine. Anywho, here it is:

I know what you mean. Whenever I see a screenshot of a part of it in someone's signature or something, I just sit there and stare for like 10 minutes, just taking in the gorgeousness before moving onto the next one. Rinse and repeat.

My desktop cycles randomly through 308 KH/TWEWY pictures every time I close/reopen my laptop. Sometimes I find myself repeatedly opening and closing it just to see more of the pictures....Gods, I'm a nerd.

This is what my money's on as well, I think they'll want to make sure people know it's the start of a new storyline, and not a continuation of the 'Xehanort Saga'.

I got a text from the bestest person in the world. I heard my phone ring, thought, 'eh, probably not important, but I guess I'll check it' and then flipped out shortly afterwards.

^This. Considering how old the series is, the whole point of the 1.5 Remix is to make the whole story more appealing to new players. I mean, personally, I tried playing KHII before Re:CoM and I couldn't, because I play KH in large part for the story, and I felt that I was missing a large chunk. By announcing KHIII (which looks gorgeous) they can attract people to the franchise and 1.5 and 2.5 can fill them in on the story for less money than getting all of the games (and consoles) separately.

Yup, I teared up when I heard too. PS4 has made my Christmas list for sure.

I almost fainted when I saw it, too, but I'm just a little miffed that it's going to be for PS4; my family's a bit slow at getting consoles, so we feel like the PS3 just got released, even though it's been around for like 8 years or so...Oh, well, I'm getting a PS4!
