Though amazing as the opening is, did anyone else notice that Ventus-Vanitas's eyes were the wrong colour? He's meant to have yellow eyes like Vanitas in that form but he had Ven's blue eyes instead. -
Regarding your statement about Kairi in KH1, it's hinted that Kairi went home to the mainland with Sora and Riku but then came back again that night before Sora got there as when Sora arrived at the island he was surprised to see Riku and Kairi's boats already tied up at the pier. She and Riku probably missed their dinners as well! Also, in defence of Sora, Riku and Kairi's parents, how do we know that they haven't been worrying about their children and looking for them? They aren't able to travel to different worlds so they would have had no way of finding their children. And Sora, Riku and Kairi haven't shown any sign of caring about the welfare of their parents either.

However I think with Roxas and Xion they instinctively knew how to wield the keyblade because they both came from Sora. They may not have had any memories of Sora at the beginning but their bodies may still have remembered what to do. Plus Roxas has part of Ventus inside him as well. And now that I think of it, maybe part of the reason Sora learned so quickly was because Ven was helping him. Kind of like how Ven protected Sora with his armour in DDD.

As everyone's said, it's pretty obvious that the KHIII cover art will be daytime. For me personally I believe the symbolism behind it is that in KHIII the 'true light' that Kairi's grandmother talks about will return, causing the worlds to become connected once more and bathed in light as in ancient times. Of course this will also mean that Xehanort, a symbol of darkness, will be defeated and all the protagonists of the series being saved and reunited which also makes daylight a very appropriate theme for the game.

Hinata Hyuuga (from Naruto & Naruto Shippuden) - Because I can be shy and innocent yet determined, my favourite colour is lilac and I can cook. Naminé - Because I'm "quiet and always drawing". Kobato Hanato (from Kobato) - Because I can be clumsy, air-headed, animated, have a tendency to apologise and like to sing. If I had to pick a fourth it would be Hermione Granger (Harry Potter) as I can also be a bit of a know-it-all.

I personally think that Terra won't join the fight until the very end as he's currently possessed by Xehanort, making him an unlikely guardian because you probably have to defeat Xehanort first or at least weaken him before Terra can be freed. Therefore I think both Lea and Kairi will be among the seven guardians with Terra, Roxas and possibly others being additional unofficial guardians.

My brother bought KH1 for me when I was around 13 (11 years ago!) because he knew I liked both animé and Disney. As soon as I saw the case for it I was intrigued by the combination of my two favourite things so I started playing it the same evening. When the opening sequence began I immediately had my first "Oh wow!" moment. I had no idea what was happening in the opening but the graphics, character designs, scenery and the moment when the birds fly away to reveal Snow White in stained glass form all told me that this game was going to be amazing. I've been a huge fan ever since!

I don't think Nomura would merge them together. Firstly because we see both of them facing off against Xehanort in the KH3D opening and secondly because they are not the same character. Roxas may have Ven's face but he still came from Sora and has his own individual personality. It's more likely that they will both end up existing as their own separate beings.

I found myself in such a situation several years ago for the (British) Queen's Diamond Jubilee - 60 years on the throne - when everyone was singing the national anthem and I realised the only line I knew was 'God save the Queen'! I then made sure that I at least learned the first verse of it so I wouldn't feel so stupid next time.

The Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle manga (better than the animé). However multiple timelines don't come into play until quite far into the manga. Lots of action throughout though

I hope no one has already made a topic about this but I want to add another piece of possible evidence to the Rebirth Theory. I myself am still not sure if the Rebirth Theory is correct or not but here's something to think about, if you haven't thought about it already. We all know that each of the Foretellers represents an animal. But I just noticed today that each of those animals can be compared to the current Keyblade Heroes, particularly in their fighting style. Let's look at each one individually: Ursus - Aced's animal is the Bear. A bear is a land animal, usually solitary and a powerful fighter. Terra's name means 'Earth' or 'Land'. He spends much of Birth by Sleep avoiding his friends and he is a powerful fighter who uses 'heavy, physical strikes' (KH Wikia), much like a bear. See where I'm going with this? Anguis - Invi's animal is the Snake. Some snakes live in water and are agile as well as highly flexible. Aqua's name means 'Water' and, although she specialises in magic, she is a highly agile and flexible fighter. Leopardos - Gula's animal is the Leopard. Leopards are agile and speedy, just like Ventus. Unicornis - Ira's animal is the Unicorn. Okay unicorns aren't real, but if they were they would probably fight by lowering their head to point their horn directly at their enemy, ready to spear the enemy with it. In a similar way, Riku holds his keyblade up over his head, pointing it forwards at the enemy ready to fight. Also Riku has long (well it was long) silvery hair like a unicorn. Vulpes - Lastly Ava's animal is the fox. Foxes are usually red and fight by jumping up high and then pouncing on their enemies. Kairi is a red-head and, although we haven't seen her fight much, she does jump over that balcony and land down below with impressive skill in the Castle That Never Was. Well that's it! Hmm so if the black coat guy is the Master of Masters and he's given nicknames to each of the Foretellers, are those nicknames the names we know them by? The fact that they are each named after the seven deadly sins seems to indicate nicknames rather than real names to me. Also if that's true could it be that he gave them those names to try and make them see darkness within themselves that wasn't really there? I mean Ava doesn't seem particularly greedy to me and Ira hasn't shown much wrath from what we've seen of him so far. Could it all be a ploy?

I didn't know Hayden had a baby! You make a very good point. I also thought they sounded most different, however the way Ava says "war" somehow sounds more like Kairi to me.

For those who are interested, I've made a quick video comparing the voices of the Foretellers with the keyblade heroes that they are believed to reincarnate into. I tried to match up the emotions in the lines given by each character to make it easier, however seeing as the only line we hear Gula say is full of anger I decided to compare it to one of Roxas's lines because Ventus doesn't get angry nearly as much as Roxas does. Also I chose to compare Aced's voice with Terranort rather than Terra as it occurred to me that their voices actually sound very similar. Anyway this video is simply designed to help people see the differences and similarities between the two sets of characters more easily. Hope you like it! And, if you want, let me know your thoughts concerning whether or not the Foretellers' voice actors are the same as the keyblade heroes below
