Note : i have absolutely no idea about gameplay balance but i will give it a go. Well technically you are actually doing the same amount of damage as wielding just one keyblade just that for dual wielding it takes 2 hits to reach that 100%. So basically it comes to whether you want to use just one keyblade( more strength , less hits per attack , no stunlock , hard to combo ) or dual wield (more hits per attack, stunlock, less strength , easier combo). Of course, there could be other abilities that synergies with keyblade style. I.e. perhaps having an ability that amplifies strength with more combos ( good for dual wield ) or having special unique magic command for dual wield and single wield. I actually do want forms to return but if there are other features that can take the place of drive forms then i'm fine with it as well . I welcome any new mechanics that can make KH3 surpass Kh2 ( it already did)

In Kh2 , dual wielding is only available when you are in valor , master and final form and this kinda annoys me as in order to play as a dual wielding character , you have to farm for orbs or drive recovery to utilize dual wielding options. So , assuming Drive forms do make a return to KH3 , do you think dual wielding options should be locked being drive forms or should it be a regular ability like aerial recovery . And for those of you who might think dual wielding may be too overpowered. To offset this , dual wielding reduces damage inflicted by 50 percent but can rack up insane combos and hits (i.e. similar to lightning returns dual-blades mechanic). A followup to the above question is that 2 out of 3 of those limit form usually involves telekinesis to move the keyblade instead of adopting a "Roxas" style. So , do you think that dual wielding should adopt a more "Kh2 Roxas style" approach ? I'm eager to read your opinions .
