  1. I'm attending the Sunday one, so I'm definitely interested, but the concert starts at 3 that day, how would a 5:30 meeting work?
  2. I wouldn't say that, they're mostly trying to focus on new worlds this time. They could still feature all the Princesses without having to feature all their worlds, as they did with KH1.
  3. You're overthinking the whole situation. For one thing, how can you know when to send someone a week ahead? A week ahead of WHAT? Xehanort never gave a timetable for anyone, the battle is only going to start when he feels like it. There's no point in sending anyone ahead of time because he would just wait for their arrival to carry out his plan, and sending them back would only cause more problems. And this is all assuming that Xehanort wouldn't have a backup strategy for any possible counter-strategy the good guys come up with. He was able to predict Yen Sid's initial plan for countering him, odds are he'd be ready for any new plan as well. There's just no easy win with this guy, something like messing with the numbers isn't going to do anything when he can essentially find multiple ways to get the numbers back.
  4. It would be nice if Cloud had custom specials that are based off of his other Limits, like Braver, Meteorain, Sonic Blade, and Omnislash Version 5/Version 6. I'd particularly like to have Sonic Blade, since it'd be nice to have a quick means of dashing around the stage and closing distances.
  5. It really depends on if they are willing to add new characters to the roster, as this IS a port of the Wii U version but with Switch support. If they are, then I'd say he has a slim chance like he did before, but then again it's always really difficult to predict Sakuri's choices with Smash anymore. I still kind of doubt it will happen, I've been burned by this hope too many times before, but I will still cautiously hope that it does end up happening anyway if new characters are confirmed. If not Sora though, definitely give us Solid Snake, no excuses. And Cloud better have his freaking Steve Burton voice clips in this game, it can't be that hard to ask Square to just lend some Dissidia voice clips (I mean look at all the mods out there).
  6. I love all of them, but I guess the one I always return to is the Kingdom Key. It's such a solid basic design, and while the more complex looking ones are beautiful for their own reasons, there's a certain charm in thoughtfully made simplicity. I mean, you don't get much more "key-blade" than the Kingdom Key. X3
  7. Yen Sid explained that although the 7 Guardians could simply choose not to fight, Xehanort will still target the 7 princesses. To "clash" doesn't necessarily mean there has to be a mutual desire to destroy the other between the two parties, all the Seekers have to do is seek them out and attack them and that should be enough. Besides, being a Princess doesn't mean you're entirely pacifistic to anything that happens to you. Considering how they all banded together to hold back the powerful Darkness that Ansem unleashed in KH1, I think it's fair to say that whatever powers they have they will use them in order to defend themselves if necessary, depending on how far that power goes, and of course on their own personalities. Yeah, some like Alice or Snow White's first instincts might not be to fight back aggressively, but at the very least they could use whatever power they have to try and get away. Regardless though, my point is that simply attacking them might be enough to fulfill that requirement. Consider Vanitas. While he and Ven did actually battle each other, it's not like they were both on their last legs in the end. One of them was already critically injured, Vanitas said himself that his own body was "about to perish". While that whole X-Blade forging was based on a re-fusion of two hearts, it still required a confrontation, a "clashing" of opposites, and in the end only one had to be "defeated". So the Princesses don't need to be on equal footing with the Seekers, nor do they even need to actively fight them either, the plan will still work if all the Seekers do is find them and "dispose" of them. Besides, if anything, that's not the primary goal of the Seekers anyway. If they did start targeting the Princesses, it would mostly be to force the Guardians into action if they are actively resisting the call to fight them. It might not be exactly what Xehanort wants, but if it comes down to it he has a backup strategy that still works in his favor. Target the Princesses to either force the Guardians into confronting the Seekers the way he had envisioned, or simply use the Princesses as a suitable substitute for the 7 opposing lights he needs. It doesn't matter who wins or looses, as long as there is a confrontation to begin with, Xehanort would be successfully pursuing and achieving his goal. Though he'd probably find fighting the Guardians to feel a bit more fulfilling. Again, what would stop him from simply targeting any of the Princesses to fill that quota? The matchup of 7 vs 13 is inevitable, especially since Xehanort literally has 14+ candidates to target, it's highly unlikely that any amount of inaction on the Guardians' part will do anything to disrupt his ridiculously flexible plans.
  8. I was pretty much waiting for this site to adopt the rumor before taking anything about it seriously. And sure enough, it paid off. It's not nearly as dire as everyone else was making it out to be when it was raw. Essentially what it boils down to is that KH3 might be getting some content removed, but no more than any other past KH game, and it might be announced for 2018 fairly soon. It's still a rumor and should still be considered as that, grain of salt and all that, but at least it's more positive than certain youtube theorists have been making it out to be. It means absolutely nothing to me when Gamer'sJoint, HMK, Skyward Wing, or whatever other KH fandom "celebrities" says anything, it's only when stuff like this touches down here that I know it's worth looking into, especially since the staff here does a much better job at cross-referencing and fact-checking than any of those other guys do. They fanned the hysteria, KH13 brought it back down to a drop in the bucket (I think I'm getting my analogies mixed up today, lol). Keep up the good work guys.
  9. Big deal, those are easy attractions to predict. May as well throw the Matterhorn, Monorail, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, and other rides in there. Yeah it's nice that his guesses were confirmed but I'm not thinking that much of it. It's not that hard of a thing to anticipate. Sorry if I seem a bit snarky, I guess I just don't really care for this channel, or really many big channel names in this fandom in general, they just don't grab my interest like other youtube personalities, and I don't really care for their theories either.
  10. Yeah calling bull on this. Just cause this guy thought he got stuff right before doesn't mean he's on the ball this time. As someone mentioned already, everybody trusted this one rumor spread by this one "reliable source" and it turned out to be completely false. The way all of this is phrased, I'm betting the same will happen again. It's contradictory to try and make a game "perfect" and yet release it as "incomplete". I understand there's a difference between what you set out to do and what you end up coming back with, but the gap between those two tends to be relatively small. And even if this did turn out like FF XV, Square never marketed it as "incomplete" before it was released, why would they do that with KH3? It defies all business logic, especially known Square logic. My best guess, it's simply going to be delayed again (if a game without an official release window can even be "delayed" anyway) and it will get release as 90-95% of what it was originally intended to be, maybe with a small bit of content set aside to be added as DLC later for development time. 2018? That's the optimistic prediction at this point, but if development and "completeness" really are an issue, I think it's more likely that they might simply push it to 2019. Of course all of this will be moot whenever Square finally says something, so for now I think it's wise to just regard this as what it really is before we're told otherwise: a false rumor.
  11. It's not an impossibility, but it might depend on what their action plan is going from E3-onward. At this point with the remixes they've pretty much written themselves into a corner where they don't have much room to release anything else before KH3, one of the very few things I could imagine them being able to do at this point to keep interest alive would be bundling 1.5+2.5 and 2.8 together in one package. And that option is the one that would require the least amount of effort, time, and resources, so I don't see why they can't do it. I just don't know whether I'd get it or not, already having both titles, they would have to offer something nice and additional (besides a pin) to justify my purchase. Like, I don't know, an art book or more of those postcards or another plush or something like that. In case you were curious, one of the other options I see available to Square at this point is making full-on remakes of Days and Re:Coded, but there are obvious reasons why making those two games now would be a problem for KH3. Better to save that option for later.
  12. Yes. X)" Well, okay, after all of my crying and shrine-building, I might consider playing every game before it in chronological or release order...yeah, definitely release order, chronological is too much of a headache. Thing is, I might have also done that already so that I'm done by the time I get KH3, so I could just avoid waiting altogether and play it right then and there. In fact, I'd recommend doing that more than anything else, it at least provides you with something to keep you occupied during the long wait. Right now I'm in the middle of a Proud Mode marathon of the whole series. After we're given an official release window, I'll start doing a Critical/Proud Mode marathon, which will hopefully wrap up right before KH3 releases. Nice way to train I guess you could say, seeing as how 0.2's difficulty suggests that things have been heavily rebalanced this time around.
  13. Oh god I just realized that today, I am so sorry, lol. Between ranting about both of them, I guess I finally got confused between them, lol. But wait, why the heck are they both doing their own top 100 at the same time?
  14. Spider-Man or Yoda. Hey, if the popular opinion is that apparently we're not "allowed" to have Star Wars and Marvel worlds mingle with KH and all it's complicated KHness, the least we can get is having them in the form of summons. Would a Spider-Man summon seriously kill this series for anyone? (rhetorical question, that would just be overdramatic.)
  15. Lol, they'll find a way. X)" Where did you get that information, KH2 was listed in the 86th position.
  16. Called it, bottom 75-100. I mean, it's great to be recognized as it is, but still, I would have at least put it in the 20-30 range.
  17. Hands down, number 1 will be Overwatch. They have a crazy boner for that game, it's not even funny.
  18. That's why I've been getting iffy with gaming news sources like IGN and Gameinformer, as far as straight up news goes they're reliable enough, but when it comes to evaluation and stuff, a lot of personal taste does seem to leak it's way in. I've been giving Gameinformer a break for a while since they seem to save most of that for their occasional parody section, but now I'm starting to notice more consistent undue points of snark in every other part of the magazine. And of course, IGN injects personal taste into almost everything they do.
  19. Why'd they have to make him so small tho? Why do I get the feeling that they're gonna place KH somewhere in the low 75-100 range? -_-"
  20. Still waiting for Mickey to jump in and save the day at the last second with "STOPZA!!". T3T""
  21. Even then, I still doubt they'd ever want to touch Dreamworks with a 49 1/2 ft pole. And I pray to GOD that they never acquire Illumination, the last thing I need right now are Disney Minions. >
  22. No, it really isn't. Dreamworks is pretty much the Sony to Disney's Nintendo, they formed after a former employee was pissed off with them enough to make his own studio with enough skill to challenge and match them at almost every turn. Dreamworks may no long be purely focused on spiting Disney anymore these days, being able to stand on their own now, but I really doubt Disney would be willing to extend that kind of an olive branch, it's just not something I see happening. Also, frankly, I really DON'T want to see any Dreamworks pictures in KH to be honest. I like a lot of those movies, but I don't really see them as KH material. Shrek in KH? Yeah, no thanks. I like salad dressing and ice cream, doesn't mean I want to put them together. Gotta say, the fact that this was in the Random section almost convinced me it was a joke, but it seems like you're playing it seriously. Fact is, there is A LOT of Disney material for Square to go through before they start running out of ideas for KH, even if you're solely focusing on the action/adventure/fantasy genres. Disney's got lots of IP to work with (whether you want to see Marvel and Star Wars in KH or not), so I'm not really concerned with Square feeling the need to reach out to another company for additional IP anytime soon.
