    off topic: Honestly, I don't think that Tales of Vesperia has a cheesy storyline. I think it's trying to be deep like abyss, but failing somehow. I'm still interested in the storyline though.

    I prefer video games that have a lot of lore in them even though they can be convoluted sometimes, over video games that don't have a story.

    I not saying your opinion is wrong, I am saying not every game needs a story. You don't need a story for beating up opponents in a free for all, and you don't need a story for shooting ducks. It is just a fact, some things don't require a story, not saying stories are bad, but they aren't always needed.

    yes, I know that's fact. mario games are even a better example of that. I agree that mario games can be fun and entertaining without it having a story and the same with smash bros and any other game that has a weak story or no story/plot at all.

    It's the last day of September and we still haven't gotten a release date for unchained X for the rest of the world. Please square just announce it. they better not repeat this process for kingdom hearts 3's release date

    Yes. To wait even a month for KH3 for the rest of the world to get it after Japan's release... Not really looking forward to that :/ Hope they could start making games release internationally, starting with 2.8

    I hate it when a game fails to tell me additional gameplay elements that are somewhat important for the gameplay. I totally missed out on the combination artes for tales of symphonia on my first playthough because of that.

    sadly, I haven't been able to yet. I had some problems with running the game on my pc perfectly

    You can't play it on the DS? Was there an issue with recording?

    I don't have a capture device for my ds. The only way I can do a walkthough for the game is to use an ds emulator. I have already started making videos on bowser's inside story, but I may have to start over because of the emulator. I'm not taking the risk of it randomly slowing down while I'm recording the game. Until I find a way to make the emulator run perfectly, i'll have to delay the walkhthough.

    I know that video games are meant to be played for fun is a fact, but when people say that, I think it makes my opinion on loving stories in video games wrong and invalid

    I think video games are just another sort of literature to the world. You experience firsthand through the characters their pain, happiness, and everything in between. Even a game like Smash Bros puts you in the position of another person in a test of strength equivalent to your dedication. That's what I hope to convey to others one day in my own.

    I think that tales of symphonia's story was just a taste on what Tales of the Abyss's story can do.
