Absolutely. It would be a shame for them to give up on the timeline which has helped established so much lore for the series. I mean the thing is called "LEGEND of Zelda" That title screams lore.

I'm kind of in the same boat here. I look at the timeline and think, what is so difficult to understand and confusing? Plus, Skyward Sword, for me, nailed the origin of the hero story.

I guess they need to fix the coding in that game.
