BBS had a few text cutscenes if I recall correctly, but very few. I feel like KH3 will have a few as well since so many resources are going into the new engine and gameplay and they'll probably need to cut corners somewhere by basic rendering. That said, the text cutscenes are at least better ingrained than a lot of other JRPGs, where they just overlay stock voice clips because they don't want to pay to voice every little thing.

I used to always pick the sword, but on my more recent playthroughs I'm trying to maximize stats, and you get more MP by picking the staff. Now it's usually +Staff and -Sword. But my heart will always belong to +Sword, -Shield because THE BEST DEFENSE IS A GOOD OFFENSE.

Limit. Final comes close, but gliding always feels really... unnatural.

You don't need them guilted; use your GAU buffer (although if you don't have 0.2 Kairi that makes things trickier), those two, then your strongest AOE speed medals, and that should do the trick.

Eh, the Axel quest was smack in the middle of the weekend. They definitely need a proof-reader though.

Did you get the free KH3 EX Sora? That made it stupidly easy for me. Nailed that thing in one turn.

Shang gets it for "I'll Make A Man Out Of You", but Baymax is damn close for not being biased or slanted in his presentation. Literally facts. Facts are good.

Hopefully that means they were prepping it for next round? Like, no way somebody just added that for kicks. Has to be a future plan. Anyway, grinding for Pooh/Tigger/Rabbit is way easier than HPO was. Leaves more time for the raid week, which I'm gonna need.

Eh, I don't think it really has a place in KH. I'm not opposed to job systems for games in general, but KH works better when it homages the system rather than imitating it.

Square Enix tends to support the handhelds pretty well, but they took a hard pass on the Vita for a lot of things, including KH. Depends on the state of the handheld market. Sony's probably going to wait a bit before rolling into their next one, Nintendo's got the Switch but still inexplicably support the 3DS, so we'll see.

Brute force for both turns. Do you have the free KH3 Sora EX? He's a godsend. If you have that and 0.2 Kairi, the rest of your hardest hitting Speed medals should suffice.

On the contrary, I think Days is a much better experience after KHII because you gain a different perspective into Roxas' character. The non-linear narrative structure is much more enjoyable. In general I lean toward release order. However, I recently finished KH1 and was going to start Re:CoM when I realized that in order to complete Re:CoM I'd have to watch Days in order to get all of the cards. Since Re:CoM is such a slog anyway, I'm going to play KHII, then watch Days, then play Re:CoM and go from there.

Anything and everything! I tend to go for beers because it's cheap and easy. I try and roll at higher ABVs; anything under 7 ain't worth my time. Generally you'll find that in your stouts and your triple IPAs, so I tend to lean dark. When you get to the hard liquors I love me a good scotch, neat. Really I'm good with anything, even some fruity concoction nonsense.

I actually really like KHUX's version of Fenrir, it gives the original some much-needed oomph. But the Master's Defender is also really cool because it actually, y'know, looks like a key.

I pulled a few times from the banner (one too many, I think, but that's okay). KA8, Dragon Mal (yesssss) and 0.2 Aqua were my haul. I'm just glad I got Dragon Mal. But definitely saving for Sephiroth EX now; that's a gamechanger. Also I'm at 6mill and ~400th place in the HSC with 51% boost. Not sure how I'm going to get the 6.5 mill for the final reward tier... unless somebody I know pulls a Sora Art EX. Also also FINALLY cleaned my damn inventory thanks to guilt campaign. Way too long without one, but worth it; my Nova is death inducing (767).

I doubt it's getting a new season, because it was functionally replaced by Young Justice (which is thankfully getting its own next season, on Netflix, after being cut short). I'd love another Teen Titans season, since I liked it way better than Young Justice (though it's also good) but I doubt we'll see it.

I think people just took to his goofy medal pose from KHUX and made a meme around it. It's not the greatest KH meme, but it's definitely not the worst =P. (also if people are calling Mike Pence "almighty" then we have some problems...)

You get all of my love for BIONICLE references. That said, most of those islands were HORRIFIC and death-inducing. Metru Nui woulda been tight though. And Okoto from the reboot was great.

Oh my god all of these movies are so bad (Kim Possible excepted). I could actually see HalloweenTown being adapted (it's got the right plot beats), but only as a replacement for Nightmare Before Christmas.

I think it's possible that they'll at least touch on it; I don't know if anybody saw Saving Mr. Banks (about the origin of Mary Poppins) but they managed to include a lot of the darker aspects to that story, even though they do gloss over/compress some of the real world accounts. It won't be perfect, but I think it'll be nuanced enough. Trailer was good.

I thought the Megazord was a little underwhelming but seeing the Zords run out to "Go Go Power Rangers" was pretty damn fantastic. It was a bit of a mishmash tonally, but I think part of that could just have been setting things up for more films, which I'd like to get.

My KHUX avatar is "Magna". It's my fallback username for stuff when this one doesn't work out (filters, neh?) but when you consider Terra, Aqua, and Ventus all being Latin names (Magna means "great"), it made a surprising amount of sense. When in doubt, just pick "wind" "sea" and "land" from a different language =P.
