  1. It was confirmed in an update in the pc version. Ava does some wacky stuff that allowed us to learn the names of the rest :>
  2. Yeah I'm inclined to believe the same thing. The whole thing about the /traitor/ is that in the end it doesn't even matter who's betraying who. The paranoia is tearing them apart anyways. I have said and will continue to say, I honestly believe the whole traitor prophecy is bs. I've made an observation before that the horned lion on Xehanort's keyblade correlates to Pride in the Ancrene wisse. That with the similarity in designs strongly hints at a connection between Xehanort's keyblade and the foretellers' own. At this point I'm sure everyone and their mother suspects that whoever originally owned Old McNort's keyblade is the fated /6th foreteller/. And honestly, hoodie dude over there is pretty likely to be the one ruining everything between the foretellers. Who else has better motive than the hypothetical 6th prideful apprentice who happened to not get a fancy book of prophecy of his own? In regards to your voice manipulation point, I can't say I noticed Hoodie change his voice in the trailer (I'll have to rewatch it). Overall nice observation. Granted at this point anyone is game, but I'm still in favor of this particular theory.
  3. Not necessarily a theory, but an observation I made is that Unicornis's mask's original design actually has yellow eyes.
  4. Dream Drop Distance is that guilty favorite of mine because I'm not oblivious to it's faults but I admittedly enjoyed Dream Drop Distance quite a lot. It might be due to my mindset where I acknowledge flaws but don't focus on them, rather I focus on what I found enjoyable. As a result I actually like DDD better than games that are less flawed. That being said the main reasons why DDD is criticized is the following Recons. Xehanort's 'master plan' was essentially just "I faked all that stuff before. This is the evil plot for realsies this time <3" Unbalanced Fighting System. I believe someone already pointed out the absurdity that is balloons. The damn Difficulty Curve. The entire game is rather easy even for someone as disgustingly bad at these games as me. But alas YMX then comes to say hi with very little preparation imo. Sora's character /development/. Sora's always been friendly, but DDD admittedly takes his supposed oblivious nature a bit too far. I'm not going to lie, DDD Sora did not bother me as much as it bothered some people, but the derailment is noticeable looking back. And lastly the time travel shenanigans add a level of complexity to an already convoluted plot. I will argue however that Riku's character development was not pointless. Riku did some pretty messed up things back in KH1, and he's spent pretty much all of COM to KH2 recovering from the trauma and guilt. For me personally, Riku's role in kh3d is the first time he feels like a character who's forgiven himself and is ready to fight the big bads without any angst. Riku's done being all sorry for himself and is finally ready to get shit done It's really the most satisfying and charming character development to me, and I welcome it completely with open arms.
  5. I loved it though I'm biased because the only characters who matter appeared
  6. There are loads of problems with this theory. But I try to open minded. And admittedly if Kingdom Hearts ever did do resurrection/something similar (which the series has done stuff similar to resurrection or rather a spiritual successor via Sora, Ventus, and Roxas), I would stray from the theory in the sense that they don't have to be the same damn person. I wasn't arguing that them having different voices doesn't completely discredit resurrection (I don't exactly know how resurrection would be implemented), I was arguing that them having different voices doesn't completely discredit connection. I consider myself indifferent to rebirth because I don't think that these similarities necessarily guarantee past lives. I also don't consider myself an avid rebirth theory critic because I don't think these similarities are completely coincidental. The parallels are there and Kingdom Hearts loves it's parallels. I just feel as if there's multiple ways then just pro-rebirth or anti-rebirth to look at the situation to be honest.
  7. I fancy/agree with the idea towards the end of your post that the traitor prophecy is bs. The more I played the pc version the more it occurred to me that the paranoia is the main source of excitement in the game. In the game we see the suspicion the foretellers have, heck the suspicion we have. The trailer does a good job showing just how much the paranoia between the foretellers is tearing them apart. I rarely have an opinion on much of anything, but honestly, I highly suspect the prophecy of being garbage at this point. Regarding the actual /rebirth/ part. I'm still a bit hesitant to say this is a case of resurrection. To be perfectly honest, thus far the parallels with the foretellers and their respective resurrection (ie. Terra vs Aqua/Aced vs. Invi etc) is very reminiscent to... the parallels between trios. So basically standard Kingdom Hearts parallelism. That being said the relationship between the trios is usually beyond simply coincidence, and there's often a spiritual connection between the characters. What I mean by this rambling mess is that I'm inclined to believe these parallels are intentional and are fine evidence, but I don't necessarily believe that it means downright resurrection. I would by no means think of myself as an avid supporter of this theory, but admittedly I feel as if discrediting this theory purely through voice actors is a bit rash. Xemnas is- for the most part- Terra. But alas Xemnas's ridiculously deep voice is pretty far from Terra's own. Of course there's complications via Xehanort influence (and probably casting decisions because if Terra sounded like that in bbs I probably would have lost my shit), but I still argue that different voices haven't destroyed connections between characters in the past. That being said this is resurrection which is it's whole new monster. I don't know the rules it has to follow nor do I claim to. And there are a lot of other arguments against this theory too. I'm just spouting nonsense by this point lol
  8. NO PROBLEMO I'VE BEEN DOING SCHOOL STUFF ANYWATS
  9. Possibly. Though his aggression may just be a red herring. I still feel like anyone can be the traitor and I still think it's possible that /there is no traitor/ It's anyone's game ¯_(ツ)_/¯
  10. Vulpeus Foretelller is best Foreteller kthxbai
  11. When comparing strengths from characters in separate series things are bound to get subjective and controversial. While I can only speak for myself it gets a bit... odd (?) to say the least on how defensive people get over the prowess in battle of their favorite characters. Unless explicitly stated in canon people are able to logically take a different perspective and I think that's pretty cool. I mean just let people think what they want to think it really doesn't hurt anybody lol As far as personal opinions go clearly the strongest characters are the owner of that ramen shop/Chi-Chi. The endurance it must take to feed those insatiable animu boys >:V
  12. Dolan vs. Gooby Gooby has already tasted the sweet embrace of death and is way more edgy and hardcore™ than the Dolan Ansem SOD vs Xemnas Nomura has stated that Xemnas is the strongest character in the Kingdom Hearts Universe. But alas, Xemnas's only job was to recruit 11 vaguely acceptable vessels and it took him 10 years to get a grand total of 1 vessel (who was a traitor too). He also just sits on a throne all day and lets Saïx run the organization. Ansem would win because Xemnas obviously can't accomplish anything by himself and Ansem SOD already has guardian to help him by default. Sora (KH2) vs Riku (KH2) Riku's too busy drowning in some quality self loathing. Sora's actually able to focus on the task at hand: beating the shit out of your long lost buff friend. Terra vs. Apprentice Xehanort Apprentice is more the type of person to sabotage elderly people who offer support to the homeless and experiment on defenseless citizens than actual hand to hand combat. Terra on the other hand is more then ready to sucker punch anyone named Xehanort repeatedly in the face. I'd say it's pretty obvious here. Ventus vs. Roxas Neither. Ventus is an orphan who just wants his best friends to stop fighting and have a good time. Do I need to even explain Roxas. These two do not need anyone punching them in the face. Instead just let the children eat ice cream in peace. Xion vs. Kairi Kairi because I assume it would be pretty easy beating someone who doesn't exist in a fight. Old Xehanort vs. Old Eraqus We will never know because the conversation that led to the fight in the first place was too long and convoluted to stay interested longer then a minute. Mickey vs. Stitch Did you see Mickey after Gooby died? That is the face of a man who can and will cross any line
  13. Goofy and Axel u_u hyuck
  14. I quite like Sora. He doesn't get the drastic character development that Riku goes through because he's already likable; he's a good person with a few flaws and I hope it stays that way. That being said I wouldn't be disinclined to further development to his character. I'm always down for character development. Although if people are saying that Sora is a flat character when Kairi still has yet to have any actual development I'm going to laugh. Just my two cents anyways.
  15. It's ya boy Isa His loyalty is already shit from what we've seen in 358/2 days and Nomura keeps hinting greater significance with his recusant sigil-scar //*coughs* someone refusing to submit *coughs* on the official Xehanort-timeline and with Xemnas's line in dream drop distance (your flesh bares the sigil so your name shall be that of a recusant) Plus Lea says he's always there for his friends so I'm holding out for Isa to be ok Keep on truckin' lil moon boy. Bare in mind this comes from an insufferable Isa apologist so don't listen to me
  16. The Pokémon already mentioned are fine suggestions, but I mainly recommend Pokémon you like. The main story in Pokémon is never hard and can be beaten with any team to be honest. So what better team then the Pokémon you enjoy? It makes it more fun in my opinion!
  17. I believe the name you are looking for is 'Goku'
  18. GOOD LUCK! Emerald is my fave so hopefully it's for you as well >
  19. Back when I did a nuzlocke I named my Zigzagoon Cereal. I just associate the guy with food lol. Possibly because despite being based off a Raccoon, Zigzagoon reminds me of Ferrets and I grew up with Ferrets with food-based names. How about Peanut or Crackers? Or if you want to go with the raccoon-route, Bandit?
  20. Dream Drop Distance's Ultima weapon is so pretty...
  21. I wish you the best of luck! If you ever need to vent or something I'm open and I'm sure many others would be too. After all we like you for being you, not what gender or whatever you are. So you do what feels right in your heart and I, and I'm sure many others, will support it. So worry not It's very brave of you to come out and I respect your courage. I wish you nothing but the best.
  22. Sleep is for the weak. I sustain off of the caffeine I get from tea and the tears I shed during Physics. I have insomnia so it's wicked hard for me to fall asleep.
  23. I'd imagine he'd be still under Xehanort's control (either via Terranort or via Xemnas. Personally, I prefer the latter) and then be saved by Sora's gang and reunited with Aqua and Ventus. Probably later in the game but hey who knows. Seeing as how he doesn't appear to have the recusant sigil on his damn face like a certain someone, I can kind of see him serve as a double agent once he's breaks free of Xehanort's control. Theoretically speaking, if the sigil tracks the vessel's movement and Terra no longer goes by Xemnas or Xehanort, they wouldn't be able to keep a tab on him. That'd be pretty nifty if I say so. That being said I'm not particularly sure what'g going to happen to Terra. I'm just musing.
  24. Welcome! I hope you enjoy it here
