  1. Although I did find it funny that the person just waved Maleficent off that they're not afraid of her power but her memories disrupting the balance, something basically everyone could have done in her place. It's a bit of a shame that she's being made fun of yet again but I do find it entertaining.
  2. I understand only the parts which don't require additional information yet to be revealed. Like where the Dandelions are exactly now, what events arepart of the real world and what are just dreams or data. It's a bit hard to grasp. Also why Maleficent can't return to her own time even though all others apparently could, even moving forward. There are lots of theories but few answers. I just hope it doesn't become a mess or is left on its own.
  3. You can say that again... Not only because of the time travel but there are so many layers now that it becomes unnecessarily confusing and could become terribly faulty and contradicting if not handled and explained carefully.
  4. I'm also not a fan of them and I also feel that they might have problems living up to their own predecessors. Then again, I can understand that Disney may want to appeal to adults too, although animated movies are still as sucessful as ever, if not more.
  5. I'm at a point where I wouldn't be bothered by seeing more but at the same time, I could also live with the fact if that was it. I think it's very likely that we'll at least get one more before launch, but I can also understand why people don't want to see more.
  6. in the game without spoiling the opening this time, as you said.
  7. The game changed directors just as much as it has changed direction over the years and there were lots of people who were skeptical to buy it since its development was a mess and up to its release, we barely knew a thing what the story was about. Which doesn't mean that KH3 won't receive an awesome final trailer, but I'd also be fine with the same amount of exposition as we've gotten these past few months and that they'd rather stick to things which will actually be i...
  8. I'm always a bit torn about CGI movies that do not end up being in the game. Yes, they look inpressive but it also feels a little like false advertising, promoting a game that will not look like this except for its opening. I know it's rather common to do and I liked the Omen trailer, I'm just not sure if KH3 needs it because the game does not need to be "sold" for a lot of people to buy it since they already played the other games. FFXV needed the promotion.
  9. 26th-30th October if I recall correctly. It would be a good opportunity since it's pretty much between Jump Festa and TGS but I guess it also depends on how much more they want to show.
  10. I also wouldn't count on Paris Games Week, like ITzDarthLordRevan said. Yeah, we did get a tremendous amount of news for 2.8 and the like but before that, it wasn't exactly expected from that event to provide anything new. So the possibility is there, but I'm not certain there'll absolutely be something extraordinary appearing there.
  11. I guess they're not going as far as FFXV with it because it's still a sequel. Of course they're also trying to reel in those that are new to the franchise but from what the interviews suggested, it has always been a game for the fans who already know about it and will buy it anyway. Which is not to say we won't get another trailer, we surely will and I'm certain t'll have impact, I just mean they're not making a huge show out of it like with FFXV.
  12. I also think that Jump Festa will have some sort of final trailer. If not there, then at least online. 4 months without anything more would probably not happen if 2.8 was any indication.
  13. Aesthetic-wise, I would love to see Wonderland in UE4, maybe with a few touches from the live action movie in terms of creatures. I know it's likely not gonna happen but it would be an interesting world to explore nonetheless. Other than that, I think Agrabah would be nice, regardless of how sick I am of it in KHUX. But they would need to do it in a way that won't become dreary to look at. It's just a nice change in color in comparison to what we already have. I do love Lilo & Stitch too but Hawaii might be too similar to Destiny Islands. I'm not against it since they can still do a lot with it, but I really don't want to see too many worlds resemble each other because it's kinda boring and lazy. Traverse Town would be cool but I don't know how much more of it they can show without becoming boring. And I can't see a reason why they would go there since it only appears for people who have lost their world and neither Neku, Leon or Co. should be there anymore. I also love Halloween Town/Christmas Town but just like with Traverse Town, I'm not sure if there's much more left to see unless they decide on expanding the story like with BH6. But even then I am not sure how the licensing would work because it seems like there are still issues between KHUX JP and global. There's gotta be a reason why we won't receive some of the medals. Pride Lands is a definite no for me. I don't want another world with tranaformations in KH3. I don't mind costume changes but seeing Lion Form Sora talking to Organization members just doesn't sit right with me. It's already a bit cringy in Monster, Inc. in my opinion and barely acceptable in Tox Story since they retain their usual looks somewhat... There was a reason no Organization member appeared in Pride Lands in KH2 and it wasn't only because there was nothing much to do there.
  14. It depends on the story I guess. Deviantart is good for origibal content but I don't know if it's bigger in the fanfiction department than other websites. Though it's also a possibility to post it on multiple websites.
  15. It does look good but I prefer the "official" ones. I always found them to last the longest for every console I ever had. Of course I did not try every third party company controller out there, but I rather pay a little more for good quality than have it break within a year. (I had an extreme case once where two controllers for half the price broke after just 2 weeks even though I'm not a particularly angry gamer or mishandled them.) I also think the PS4 one doesn't look as... cramped with symbols? I don't know how to describe it but while still looking nice, it just seems overloaded with the symbols and a bit distracting.
  16. My sister told me Saturn is offering a 15€ discount on pre-orders for KH3 when paid with PayPal but unfortunately, it's only for the regular edition...
  17. There is no confirmation but I think to expect 2 is reasonable. They don't have to be the same size as other worlds, for example 100 Acre Wood was suggested by the leaks back in December. And I guess I would be disappointed if there wasn't at least one more. Simply for some variety since a lot of the color schemes are similar and I would like to see something more toward the hand-drawn era of Disney.
  18. I'm not too familiar with Discord, but I always thought it was essentially a forum, too? I mean, if that's what was requested, then I hardly have anything against it but I personally don't plan on participating. I don't really want to follow two forums and I feel like it may split the site up a little. As I said, I'm not against it, just not sure what makes Discord better than the site's forum since I know very little about it.
  19. album with teasing Chikai. This seems to be a standalone song. So yeah, the possibility is certainly there that we will hear a part of the song in a trailer.
  20. I wouldn't put it beyond them to reveal it before its official release. They did the same with Chikai back then where the shorter version was part of the trailer and then they released the regular the regular length version when the album came out. That's no guarantee of course, but it's not like there isn't precedence in this case either. And Jump Festa would be fairly close to the official reveal. Then again, it may have been a marketing thing to promote Utada's new...
  21. It's that weird paradox where it feels like such a long time until KH3 but at the same time there s also this strange feeling that the past 9 months have flown by in a flash again.
  22. To be honest, none. There are countless great and not so great artists out there, some even suitable for KH or working together with either Shimomura or Utada, but I also think that having too many people play a large role can make it worse in the end. Immensely popular idols such as Ariana Grande and the like would make me believe that their opinions matter more than the actual director's since their influence is bigger, and I don't see a reason wasting too much money on a name to advertise KH. Unless they'd do it for free, but even then I would remain skeptical. If help is needed it would be fine since Shimomura writing all of it alone requires quite a large amount of effort and even other games sometimes borrow other composers for select works. Not necessarily as a collaboration but to work on their own to reduce the workload on the main composer. I don't know if Skrillex is a good choice in the end, we will see that in January, but I am happier with a less influential artist who doesn't see it as a stage to promote only their own image and demand a lot of money for their services. Maybe I am harsh due to the fact that I'm not exactly too fond of what is currently considered popular and that no one can guarantee to deliver a song which will appeal to me or a majority, but KH's budget is already tight, considering that the lack of localization is not only a time but also a money issue. After all, it's not only adjusting lip movement but also paying the voice actors. (Which doesn't bother me but I guess a lot of people would be angry if they invested a huge amount into some idol.)
  23. His usual genres aren't exactly among my favorites, far from them actually, but I don't want to condemn it yet. The main reason is that he's not the only one working on it and in the end, he is not the one making the final decision. There must have been a reason why he was chosen, probably because he has experience with remixes and because he must have been considered suitable. This is not to say that he's the only one who could mess up since I don't like Chikai at all. I would rather prefer an orchestrated theme again too with no lyrics. But I still think it could be good in the end. Music taste is such a fickle thing but at least we have the reassurance that it will only be the theme song and there're still plenty of other scores to be enjoyed for sure.
  24. Nope, not one bit. I just have too much freetime so I'm following everything in regard to KH.
  25. While I think a lot of the options are important, the most crucial part for me is personality. Motives are all nice and well but if the villain has zero characterization or is generally really bland, it's not a good villain for me. I don't need a tragic backstory or a fancy design or even to relate to them. As long as their personality is interesting, it is fun to follow. Even a villain with a good motive, a lot of presence and a good outward appearance can still be boring if there is little to them, like a lack of quirks and/or habits. A motive is important as well. It can be the most cliché thing ever as long as it's there. There's nothing worse than a villain who does something for no reason in particular and without any intentions. Even if it's just to annoy the protagonist, that's fine by me if they're dedicated to it. It's a plan at least and makes the story progress. I also like it if they are present on more than one occasion and don't let all the henchmen do the dirty work. Early appearances can make for nice twists and turns and an involvement in the story helps. They don't have to be there 24/7, but occasionally is probably to a narrative's advantage. What I don't reqlly need is a arbitrary or pseudo-profound connection to the protagonist. Of course there will be some sort of relationship if plans are repeatedly thwarted, but there doesn't need to be some deeper secret to it other than simple interference. I actually prefer it if the villain is disconnected from the protagonist as much as possible because it usually ends up in cheap drama and conflicts for lack of more creative plot twists. The whole "the bad guy was actually my father/mother/lover/sibling all this time!" is extremely unappealing for me.
