I like how people automatically assume that all dlc is removed content. Its not always the case. With batman arkham knight they added the Killing Joke story as dlc and while it wasnt too long it was something that definitely wasnt planned for the base game and wouldn't have fit in. Think about it, rather than have an entire extra game focusing on The back story of a character or whatever else we can get a 1-2 hour dlc. The only time that dlc is a problem is when its something so minuscule like a taunt or extra weapon.

I wish Nomura never said that Sora would live and Xehanort would die for good this time. Thats like a whole freaking spoiler right there.

The D23 Japan event is just a week away, What do you guys think will be shown? In my opinion There are 3 things that have a chance at being revealed. 1. A character reveal. Not particularly a new character but a possibility is that they could decide to show off Riku's or Kairi's new design. 2. Treasure Planet. This is very likely since the previous two announcements were tangled and BH6 which of course were produced by Roy Conli. We know he said with Tangled's reveal that it was the first in several of his films so that very obviously meant BH6, which was announced, and what may be revealed next, Treasure Planet. 3. Star Wars. This is the year of Star Wars. We have Battlefront launching next month and even bigger than that Star Wars 7 Releasing the month after. This is the biggest time for Star Wars and if it's going to be in Kingdom Hearts, this is the time to announce it.

For an rpg with only two main title games, Kingdom Hearts is definitely big. It's sold over 20 million copies. Of course we have no idea how a game without a home console title in a decade will do and can only hope it will come back strong like Tomb Raider did. But if Kingdom Hearts 3 was to have commercials with Frozen and Star Wars that would definitely have a big effect on sales. Also, it's not fair to compare the size of Final Fantasy to any franchise. FF is one of the very very few franchises to ever top 100 million sales.

I wouldn't like to fight Sephiroth unless it made sense. In KH1 we fought him because I guess when they made the game they weren't sure if it would get a sequel so of course they threw him in as a boss battle disconnected from the story (That's why they didn't know each other when they meet in KH2). In KH2 he was actually a part of the story and as we know he and Cloud disappeared. So i would only want to fight him if the story called for it or if he was a battle in the coliseum,

Yeah i thought so too. They probably havent finished his facial animations. You realize the old idle face is not gnna be a thing in KH3 right? That was only like that because of graphical limitations and we can clearly see his face has much more detail out of cutscenes now so no more flat face . He's saying his face looks weird, probably because of the odd facial expression he's making,

I've always thought that it fit in Kingdom hearts perfectly. Its literally a battle between light and dark just like kingdom hearts.

So I originally thought it was going to be 2016 but of course 2.8 was announced so that's definitely not happening. Now because we have confirmation that kingdom hearts 3 WILL be the next game after 2.8 there's is no doubt it will release in 2017 midway or fall the latest.

Yes it is the perfect time. Everything Star wars is happening within the next two months. The cartoon is on, the Movie is releasing, and battlefront is coming out. They can ride that hype train easily. Yeah, I hope kingdom hearts expands because at some point the amount of new Disney properties will start running thin. I think SE tested those waters with the TWEWY characters so we could start seeing more of that.

D23 is too early to see multiplayer, If its in the game it will be one of the last things that's revealed. I don't understand why people wouldnt want it, it's not like it's taking away from anyone's experience.

The thing is, we probably wont play as sora after this anyway so i wouldnt care too much. I dont want to play as roxas again though his character is already developed and we went through his life and i dont really see a need to put anymore focus on him.

I didn't say you said resurrection. Resurrection already exists in the series.

That would be cheesy. I prefer dead to be dead unless the conditions are met to be resurrected. Why would The resurrection factor even be a thing if they're just up in a heaven. And wouldn't those characters who were brought back from the dead be able to recollect what happened in that heaven? Sora would have been there (his death in kh1) if that was the case.

When they die they are split into a heartless and nobody and if their heart is without body i don't see how he could see them let alone could talk to their heart alone.
