Yeah most likely a retcon. I'm gonna guess Nomura didn't really know who would be the thirteen seekers of darkness were gonna be and he just kinda made it up on the spot. It honestly sounds like your complaining about an opinion that differs from your own. Or your against criticism in general. Like I love this series but I'll be one of the first to admit it has major flaws. And having half of the new organization just be original members seems really lazy to me (especially when it contradicts what was said before). And Nomura is already adding new characters in the mobile game anyway so I don't think it's beyond the possibility that they could introduce new ones in KH3. The series obviously makes it up as it goes along, they don't really plan ahead that much. These are not really new criticisms.

I really find Tangled and Frozen overrated (though at least with Frozen that's not really an unpopular opinion nowadays). I just can't get into them and don't really get why they are so popular that one gets a sequel and another a TV series. None of them really did anything that new. I don't know if I really hate any Marvel movies, at least I don't hate any of the popular ones that did well critically (I have not seen Infinity War yet) but I do find some of the characters overused (like I like Iron Man enough but does he need to be in EVERY Marvel movie, and sometimes he takes the spotlight away from other characters (most notably in Caption America: Civil War and the Avengers films). Also relating to Kingdom Hearts, I find Xehanort kinda a boring villain and I don't like how he overly complicates everything. The best thing about him is his voice and his style.

My biggest problem with Marluxia and Larxene being in the new organization is that they already betrayed the original one, so it just seems really weird that they are having Xehanort trust them enough to add to his new one. Then again, the game is not out yet so they will hopefully explain it. Plot twists have always been a mixed bag for me so we shall see. I just have a feeling the wayfinder trio are all in pretty big trouble though.

That's why Sora is my favorite character and I sure hope they don't change their mind and they stop making him the protagonist. It always kinda makes me sad when people don't like him and want characters like Riku or Roxas to be the main character (I say those two cause those are the ones I see the most as people wanting to be the main protagonist) and I just don't think it would work. I mean, Roxas was my favorite and I still love him but I think Sora grew on me more as time went on and I got older. He gives me a lot of the same feelings as some of my favorite Disney characters do. He's like a perfect combination between anime and Disney hero. Probably why I enjoy Dream Drop Distance over Birth By Sleep despite it's plot being....well yeah. It's an unpopular opinion but I just enjoy Sora's character more. I do also have a lot of issues with the series despite my love for it. For me, I could honestly care less about the overall plot. I mostly care about the characters and visiting Disney worlds and having fun (I also don't like when people slam the Disney stuff as being childish or whatever, like why are you playing the game then? It's 75 to 85% of the game they are not gonna get rid of it. It's still a Disney game whether you like it or not.). That's why them saying the ending is gonna be dark kinda worries me.

Wait they lost the rights? How did I not know this?

Well turtle Goofy is kinda scary so I can't blame them for that.

Do they mean because they consider it embarrassing or because of some content I don't remember seeing?

I really don't want the worlds to take too long either. One of the problems with open world games. It would be nice to have them a little bit longer than some of the past games, but I really don't wanna spend like 12 hours in one world for the main story line at least.

Totoro cause he at least has a possibility. A very, very slight possibility, but a possibility all the same.

I love a lot of the side games (I mostly call them that cause they are non numbered and started out on handhelds) and I do think people at least need to give them a chance. The series is extremely experimental with both game play and story, and the side games are great examples of this. Each game is a different experience. Sure, sometimes some of the experiments don't work, but when it works it really works. I do sometimes agree with some people though that not every game needs to have important story elements that ties into the main story line that you need to play (or watch) in order to understand the story. Especially when they are all on different consoles. That's a lot for a casual gamer or one with not a lot of money to keep up with. Now I know they are all on one console now but that was not the case before. Like I would still get the game even if it was just a one off story that focused on something else other than the main plot because it's Kingdom Hearts. Like Union Cross is probably a fine game but did it have to be connected to KH3 in anyway? It's a phone game that unless your a hardcore fan you would probably ignore. It should of had it's own self contained story, like they originally said it would. But other than that I think people should give the other games a chance. They might end up liking them.

I guess it just depends. Maybe they'll show just how he got everyone under control? That would be interesting since he (along with Saix) at first glance seems like the most loyal. So it would be a good twist. But another thing is would the betrayer betray Xehanort for the good side, or would they do it for their own purposes?

If either Sora or Kairi die I would be extremely angry not only cause it would make me sad but if either of them dies it would seem like the developers just trying to be edgy and/or be motivation for other characters. It would just seem....a little off to me. I would not like Lea or Roxas dying either cause it already happened, with Lea "dying" like twice. The only characters I think would "fit" having a death would be Riku or any of the Wayfinder trio. Don't get me wrong, I would be upset about anyone dying, but those are the characters I feel would, I don't know, make more sense to die? Like it would fit in their character arcs or something?

In all honesty, I feel logically they would all betray him. I don't see any of them really wanting to just become Xehanort's puppet.

I actually quite like Xion and I think she gets a lot of undeserved hate. I do understand some of the problems with her, like her being kinda repetitive (WHO ELSE IS SORA?) and a little plot baity, she is still one of my favorite characters. I felt more for her then, let's say Terra (who's an OK character but something about him did not grab me). Xion got a decent story arc as well. I really do hope she gets another appearance.

I don't know if I have any fears per say, but there are some things I am a little nervous about. Most of these have to do with the overall plot: - The story ends up being extremely confusing and convoluted, random plot twists, random new characters popping up to add unneeded conflict and storyline (OK, this is not too back if it's just a little cameo or something to hint at a coming game, but if it's for plot in KH3 I think that would be a little much) - The problem with too many characters is that some will most likely not get the screen time and/or development that they need. Like I'm OK with some of the characters only having cameos (like some of the old organization) but if characters like Kairi and Lea get shoved into the background I'm gonna be kinda angry, especially with Kairi cause she really needs more development or I dunno SOMETHING. -A a slightly smaller worry, that Hercules is the only 2D Disney movie to get a world.

I'm kinda surprised Hercules never got a direct to video/DVD sequel. Since I'm pretty sure every movie from the Renaissance got at least one, even Hunchback and Pocahontas. But I guess it did get a TV series. It would be cool to see a lot of these get movies if they got the big budget treatment to go to theaters.

We got a lot in the month of June. Three trailers (four if you count the orchestra trailer), two new world reveals, the full Japanese theme song, release date, plot information, many interviews etc. That's quite a bit so it's not like we are in a drought so I was not expecting much. But I would not worry too much about it. They did say we have more trailers coming our way in the coming months, so one will surely pop up sometime I'm gonna guess either August or September.

This is hard cause it changes all the time. But I guess my top favorites are Sora, Donald, and Goofy. The best trio.

Possibly. It could be a great way to introduce that world into the "mainstream" games without having to actually visit it. I don't really see any big plot points happening in that world that would cause Sora to visit it. But who knows?

It's gonna be....weird having "let it go" in there. Like is it gonna be like a mini game or is it just gonna be a cut scene? I dunno they're gonna have to do something to sell me on that world cause it's kinda a bummer we don't have any party members and I don't like mazes (how did Larxene make a maze anyway?). Like I'm sure I'll enjoy it anyway but so far it's gotta be one of the Disney worlds I'm least looking forward too. I can't wait for Larxene though. :biggrin: Now that I'm done ranting about things nobody wants to read I'm really excited about Kairi and Lea's storyline. So even if we don't play as either of them it's nice to know they won't be completely out of the game. I'm still hoping for Kairi being playable, even if it's later in the game. I'm pretty sure Xion will be back in some way. I'm curious about what role she could potentially play.

I guess it could be possible we play as more than one other character, since Nomura seemed to hint that that was the case. We could play as Kairi later in the game maybe.

I don't think it will go above E10 and up. They still market the game for younger players. Sure it might go darker but I don't think that means it will be more violent like with blood and such. The only reason KH2 was E10 and up was because of PotC which had some alcohol and a tiny itty bit of blood. I doubt they would do much more than that. Not to mention I don't think Disney would want a game that has Mickey Mouse in it to be rated T.

Also it seems like Twilight Town is playing the role Traverse Town and Hollow Bastion played in the previous games. So it looks like some Disney and most probably Final Fantasy cameos are gonna pop up. I wonder why.

I hope that just because the world Kairi and Lea are training at is not playable does not mean that Kairi and/or Lea are not playable themselves at some point in the game. That said, a lot of interesting info. I hope Nomura does not run out of things to talk about that's not spoilers about the game or future trailers with all these interviews he's doing.

Some of the art styles might be a little off putting in 3D, but they could probably make it work. They already have live action movies.
