    I don't see why they are, Square already had a representation so why limit the game with more square ips

    @Kyouma I'll have to be honest, on some other communities that's what I saw. Bayonetta wasn't even mentioned. Sora, Shovel Knight and Shantae were all wanted more.

    imo I'm pretty sure there were several submissions that they just scrapped immediately. In the direct in the corner it said something like she won "of the possible characters" or something that sounded like they took out ideas that they couldn't make happen. That could mean anything from Goku to Banjo and Kazooie. I wish they would've just released the numbers of everyone whether it was possible or not

    It also said she was No. 1 in EU, in the Top 5 for US, and top for most realizable characters or something

    I think that she was high in the rankings but I just rewatched the announcement and it said she was #1 *Among Realizable Characters. I'm fine with her being in the game but I think there were others above her that had complications and I just want to know who those characters are

    I know tons of people will disagree with me, but seriously Smash Wii U is the perfect Smash Bros game in my eyes when it comes to characters. All these amazing characters and a lot of my personally favorites in one game is something that is so awesome for me! I can't wait to see what happens from here on out in the world of gaming! :)

    I agree with you as far as characters go, there really is someone for everybody. I loved the announcements today but I was really hoping they would add another game mode like target smash or a type of adventure mode

    I just think it's the perfect Smash game in general. It has something for all audiences, a ton of great characters and stages, a lot of game modes, and the DLC support helped a lot. I don't even know how it can possibly be topped at this point.

    Why are people salty about the Smash results? It's called a global ballot for a reason, no matter your expectations they did what was most popular and most possible. Also, used DLC as marketing hype for Fates, get over it.

    I'm salty because none of the characters added interest me, when I know that there were options I would have found preferable.

    I know the feeling, but honestly, almost every character in Smash Bros Wii U / 3DS has been something that I either wanted or something I thought would make the game interesting. I mean sure I didn't predict every character, but I was always happy with what characters were announced, and I really wanted to know more about these characters and their stories. So honestly, if I had known all these characters to begin with, I think I would have made the Smash roster myself.

    Let's try to not be salty everyone I know it sucks that your character or character(s)didn't make it into smash, but being salty about it won't change what characters we got today. If you're so salty then take the following advice (more in the comments)

    1. do what YOU love to do everyday. For most of you it's basically playing your favorite video game or games

     

    2. try to forgot about it and let it go. it complaining about what happened today won't be a thing. That's just part of life

     

    3. remember it is not the end of the world if your character didn't get into smash. there are a ton of things you can do besides complaing about what happened today. instead of complaining you should look forward to what game...

    I know Bayonetta was the Smash Ballot winner, but honestly, I think Cloud and Corrin are my winners of the Smash Ballot, they were characters that I wanted and they seem to be the best options for me for new DLC characters. I really have been lucky with getting my favorites into Smash Bros with Bowser Jr., Duck Hunt, both Lucario and Mewtwo, and now even Cloud and Corrin! I can't wait to see what the future is like for Smash 5 cause I say that it needs to do a greater job than the Wii...

    I wanted him in Smash Bros, but I honestly didn't expect him until the next Smash Bros game, but I was also hoping that he would be DLC since I wanted to have him battle against Robin so I knew which one was better. I just can't decide if I like Corrin or Robin better, they are both such good characters, so I needed to find a way I could test their skills, and Smash Bros was actually the one place I knew I could decide it for sure!     And BTW, I was the person who predicted that Tron Uprising would be in a KH game, and it was in 3D, so I kind of have a gift for predictions, just not all the time.

    And yeah, plus the waiting for him to be released. This has been a very interesting ride in Smash Bros, I just wonder what I am supposed to get hyped for next since I have seriously put a lot of my time into Smash Bros and was always thinking what could be announced next, with the game almost done, I have to find something new to focus on.

    Is there really a tornado? The idea of a Tornado that I think of are monstrous sized wind funnels that look like this (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Tornado) and they tear down houses and leave disasters in their trail

    I must say it looks a lot more detailed this time around as maybe they now have the ps4 in mind, and i must say the MC has a interesting move set with her sword

    Also her voice sounds familiar of Japanese Mitsuru, and the plot seems like it might go places, hope we can sail around the seas

    @gamerazor247 They said something about they are gonna do the same thing they did last year. Take Down the PSN and Xbox Live. I swear if that crap happens i will be mad as crap. They better not do it. I hope Sony And Microsoft are aware about this.

    Yeah, I was rather annoyed with Milla's outfit, too. I've always been bothered that the Japanese like to give women skimpy outfits in manga, anime and games, especially since it's just not what a typical woman is going to wear. I highly doubt you see that kind of thing in Japanese society, even.
