Wait, if we take the time differences between here and Japan into account, the KH Premium theater is actually TOMORROW.
KeybladeLordCheeseCurd repliedThe entire USA or something? Mostly because when it's night in the US, it's probably day in Japan. So they're a day ahead of us. Example: October 30th for us, October 31st for them.

I feel so weird, I just traveled back in time and was awake for it! I even forgot it was Daylight Savings Time and panicked when I saw the clock go back in time. This is the first time I have ever been awake for it, as usually I am asleep!

Early in breakfast my brother said something that made sense. Why would Kingdom Hearts go through all the spin offs? Shouldn't it be easier to tell the whole story or the missing plots into 1 game of KH3?
Pokemoncuzzie repliedThey are essentially spin-off titles because they were all on handhelds, and none of them were numbered titles.
It would've made a lot more sense except for one problem. The gap between the numbered titles. You can play KH2 without playing Chain of Memories, but you will miss a lot of story and character development.

MythrilMagician replied@Pokemoncuzzie you practically contradicted yourself. They can't be considered spin-offs as they are part of the main story in one way or another. A Theatrhythm Kingdom Hearts would be a spin-off. But DDD, CoM, Days, Coded, BBS and X aren't.

I mean take a look at Assassins Creed, Unity and Syndicate would be spin-off titles because they aren't part of the numbered series. But they are still full scale games. The ones you mentioned were all handheld titles, and use a vastly different system than the numbered games. Otherwise why isn't KH3 actually KH6 or something?

Kalebninja repliedI wrote a bunch of paragraphs because I've thought of this before but i'll give you the short version. No. The way the games are set, there are too many long, very separate, stories to be told and having those games together wouldn't have felt right. The way they dealt with the franchises story just really made it difficult for people to jump in and enjoy it honestly.
Isamu Kuno repliedHere's the deal with the handheld titles. No, they could not all be told in KH3, even with the PS4, vast capabilities it would be impossible to fuse all of Days, BbS, Re:coded, 3D, χ and 0.2, and KH3 into one disc, you'd need 3 at least. Hell, the only reason we're even getting 2.8 is because they couldn't fit 0.2 on the disk with the rest of KH3 but the story still needed to be told before the final confrontation.
Isamu Kuno repliedPart 2. As for the titles, while imperative to the story they don't focus on Sora. KH is his story so if a game doesn't focus in him it doesn't get a number. Days is Roxas' story, BbS and 0.2 are Aqua's, Re:coded is Data-Sora's, 3D is Riku's and χ is the Foretellers (though not the Playable Character they are the focal point).

The only exception could be CoM but because of Reverse/ Rebirth it may be Riku's story in the same way that 3D is or BbS is Aqua's despite those games also having multiple playable characters. Sorry for the multiple posts but this wouldn't have all fit in a single post. Also sorry for deleting and reposting but getting "American" when I meant "same" was just too bug a typo for me to ignore.

All in all, today was just okay. It wasn't a bad day but it wasn't the best Halloween ever. It was just an okay day. Had only one Trick or Treater come to my house, which turned out to be a little boy who was dressed like a member from the Paw Patrol which was just so cute on the kid, he reminded me of my cousin who passed away and so I was extra nice and have him extra treats as the young ones are the most precious! And I also watched Pixels today, and I really don't see why...
WakingDawn96 repliedit is a hated movie, as I found fun in it, especially the Duck Hunt scene as I love Duck Hunt, and they do have an arcade version of Duck Hunt! So haters are going to hate, but I will enjoy what I enjoy, even if it makes me different! Anyways, happy Halloween everyone, and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!
