im officially bummed that i can no longer get any of the marvel vs capcom games on ps3. yea, i could get marvel 3 but i cant get the dlc. i still rly want origins, 2, and 3+dlc never got them before they were delisted
SolsticeBas repliedIsn't it possible to buy them via online retailers? I got Spore (a game from 2008 or whatever) from there too and it was a real, working copy. Except that online didn't work but that's because EA abandoned Spore and not cause of the copy of the game itself.
Sorual repliedonline retailers? if it wasent a digital thing then yes. but its a digital thing. the only way to get it now is to buy a download code (which are ridiculously expensive due to rarity) or get it from someone elses account.marvel 3 i can get tho scince it had a physical copy. cant get the dlc tho

As in, old installments can just be distributed forever but if they wanna make new MvsC games they have to renew it. I really don't understand businesses these days

I hope I'm not the only one here getting terribly annoyed by the constant KH merch, mangas and novels. I have much better ideas. Write a novel about Young Xehanort's past from his perspective? One from Apprentice Xehanort's perspective? From Xion's? The Nobodies whose human forms haven't yet being revealed? And things that would wrap up the convoluted plot etc. Isn't that a much better idea than just milking shit out?

SolsticeBas repliedWell I can see you there, tbh the FF characters do almost nothing anyway. De facto KH's a Disney thing and I even like it more that way, cause I don't feel all that much attachment to FF either way :-)

KeybladeLordCheeseCurd repliedAbout FF characters not being important. In KH1, they didn't do much. In KH2, their roles grew, moving them pretty far from cameo territory. As for BBS, it would be pretty confusing.
SolsticeBas repliedI know, and I really love their roles in KH2 but I mean they don't do anything in the whole Xehanort struggle afaik, while Donald, Goofy, Mickey, Yen Sid, etc. do :-) I'm personally fine with FF in KH just not the way it's being phased out lately (again my opinion, feel free to disagree/discuss it's only good for us as a fandom), I personally think it's better to rather not have a character at all than to phase it out :-)
SolsticeBas repliedalso BBS could just have Cecil, Kain, Rosa etc? (I love FF4 a real lot), it could be hand waved anyway cause I don't think FF4 (a medieval-style game) takes place in the same century-age as FF7/8 (Dieselpunk/Dungeon Punk stuff) and all :-)

Tbh Cecil could be really interesting as he kinda goes through the same struggle as Riku (being a dark knight and forced to dark stuff etc ala KH1 riku/Riku!Ansem, and overcoming it and becoming a paladin ala Riku getting his Mark of Mastery). Personally I'd say Yuel and Caius could appear (just replace the whole chaos thing with darkness), and Lightning interacting with Sora could be really funny to how completely different they are

im very sad to hear about iwatas death. he seemed so much more than a corperate business man just wanting to make money. he really wanted to make gamers happy and for nintendo to succeed. i cant help but remember when he cut his salery to price drop the 3ds. rest in peace, man. you lived a respectable life. still, im wondering how nintendo as a company will change in terms of business practices without iwata. it could be better or could be worse. i look forward to seeing which. r.i.p. iwata
WakingDawn96 repliedNintendo was doing fine in the 90s before Iwata actually became the CEO, and so I bet if anything they will be okay. Plus I am sure Reggie means well as well, he isn't Iwata, but Reggie seems to be able to help Nintendo from here, and when there is a new CEO, that CEO will get help from other workers at Nintendo and be able to make Nintendo it's normal self.

I really find it sad he died, and I hope the new CEO will either be better or just as good, cause if Nintendo will become like EA and Ubisoft etc I think I'll lose my faith in AAA developers in general, Nintendo's old Mario games were my childhood, and I don't want to see my childhood defiled. If you know what I mean :-)

I hope the new CEO can put some innovation too, like main series, NSMB-like Mario games instead with RPG plots like Paper Mario etc, and put the Olympics games crossovers to death and make a real Mario & Sonic game, and I hope they'll add more indie chars like Shovel Knight and Quote in SSB and ofc Sora
