    Final fantasy 7 remaster/remake looked promising. But most of the reveals looked like a bunch of shooter games, which personally I'm not too excited about. Also, did anyone else see the SAO stuff right near the end? It really interested me.

    Okay let me correct myself, Sony lost on the console/technology level (I mean Microsoft had backwards compatibility and Hololens) but they destroyed Microsoft game-wise. Horizon Zero Dawn FTW!

    I haven't seen Microsoft but I like what Sony did, it was interesting. Only games that got me hyped with FFVII Remake and Horizon.

    Microsoft did really really bad in my opinion. They tried, but they just didn't show anything interesting on their own.

    Can't believe I'm saying this, but the best thing about Sony's performance was Final Fantasy. Not too many other interesting games, though. :/ The Uncharted footage made me decide against getting into that series. Looks too much like it's going for a cinematic approach, which is something I don't like when it comes to video games.

    Agreed. No Man's sky is interesting, so is Last Guardian and Horizon zero Edge.

    Also, Uncharted's not all about cinematic, at least not in the prior games like 2 and 3. Also a bit upset about no KHIII, i guess that's tomorrow then.

    @Firaga Hey, No Man's Sky looks awesome. It's just... World of FF. It's like it's almost the old-school FF game I've wanted for years. I just hope it's not Toriyama's new project...

     

    @Reyn I agree on Horizon and FFVII remake. Last Guardian looks a bit too cinematic, too. :/ And I might need to see some footage of the older ones or rent them again, but 4 didn't look very interesting in my opinion.

    I'm looking forward to see if World of FF really is that old school FF game that Axel wants to see, i'd love to look into it.

     

    Also, YES ON NOMURA WORKING ON FF VII THE REMAKE. He made Crisis Core awesome, i have a bit more faith in the remake now.

    And trust me, 2 and 3 aren't nearly as cinematic (there isn't much NPC interaction either), there's more gameplay in those aside from the legit. cutscenes.

    Because I'm an RPG fan first and foremost when it comes to video games, and the old school FF games are some of my all-time favorites. The new FF game looks like it's going to be similar to those, which is what I've wanted for YEARS. That's what's going to take priority for me. I can be excited for more than one game, though.

    @Reyn It looked pretty good from what we saw. The combat sounded a little odd, but hey, it's got the fantasy setting again. That's a good sign.

     

    Also means we'll have to wait like 3 years for it. xD

     

    Ah, right. :/ I'll need to look into them, then. I think I'll skip out on 4, though.

    So? I don't care. I think it looks fine. And the game sounds interesting. I know I'm like one of the 5 people who cares about it but it was probably one of the most interesting things at E3 for me.

    ... I said Horizon looked good, too. Firewatch is something I intend to keep an eye on. I said the BEST thing was FF, and I don't know why you say "of course" because I've mentioned many times that I don't care for the series anymore since the new games are typically disappointing or not interesting. I can't say Dreams, Last Guardian, or Arkham Knight interest me, but I don't see why it's such a big deal that I'm not interested in literally three games that...

    There are a ton of things we both like. I don't get why it's a big deal that there are three games we share different opinions on. There are a lot of games I like that you've gone and bashed right in front of me.

    We're not split down the middle. We're both excited for No Man's Sky and Horizon. I can't help not being interested in the other games you mentioned, though. They just didn't look interesting to me.

    Eh... It looked cool, but the whole gap with no news and the fact that they announced it early killed my hype for the game. The trailer was cool and all, and I'll still get it, but I'm not crazy excited about it anymore.

    Fair enough. Still, the evolved gameplay looked insane, I figured that'd get you a biiiiit hyped. Although im betting Eraqus in that didn't help tho, lol.

    Well, like I said, it looked really cool. It's just not something I'm freaking out over like everyone else is. :/ I loved the platforming and improved Flowmotion, though. And the Rock Titan battle. I kinda wish they'd go back to the more strategic gameplay the older games had, although the action-based gameplay's still fun. I just want a challenge from the series again.

    I admit, his face looked a bit...strange. Too Innocent and pure for someone like Eraqus the way we know him, lol. Maybe it's just the KH Shader art style but it looked...too baby-ish IMO, lol.

    Still, I agree, it looks more like a baby face than Sora or Riku's faces do, lol. Even Ven wasn't that bad in his 12 year old model from BBS. xD But it's probably just that we're used to seeing as an old man though. Although that does make me realize something, I think Eraqus is probably waaaaaaaaay younger than Xehanort which is also why it looked pretty contrasting. I mean hell, in BBS you can tell MX could be a grandpa, Eraqus didn't even have white hair yet.

    I mean Eraqus seems to believe that darkness is pure evil, and is completely against it.

     

    Also, we never saw much of Eraqus... For all we know, he might not be different...

    As much as I don't care for Eraqus, Firaga has a point, at least Eraqus did care for Terra (And Aqua and Ven to an extent). He's probably a better person than Xehanort.

    I wouldn't be buying into this a bit if it wasn't for the audio, listening to it with Headphones, it sounds legit. (Sounds alooooot like Nimoy talking about lines MX would say from KH actually).

    Okay, Eraqus isn't quite as bad as Xehanort. Regardless, he's still my least favorite character for his narrow-minded views on light and darkness.

     

    Also, pretty sure that video is fake. Why the heck would part of the last number in the year be blurred out?

    Possibly. The videos audio/dialogue is pretty convincing IMO tho, although the last number raises questions. Even so, the Winter 2016 release date seems like a reasonable one regardless.

    Chill. He was working on FFXV and KH3 at the same time, but mostly FFXV. Ever since he's been off FFXV, KH3 has probably been his first priority. He'll probably put more attention toward KH3 than FF7 because he'll want a game that was announced first to come out first.

    KH3 was announced two years ago actually. It's been in full swing dev for a little while. All I'm saying is, it shouldn't be pushed back too much.

    Except now that it's been announced he's going to have to shift focus completely to work primary on this because the fans who've wanted this since the tech demo (who I gurentee you will mercilessly bash this game when it came out) are never going to shut up about it.

    In the very beginning they had their typical series of game trailer clips with a bunch of different games, Sora from the KH3 trailer being one of them, but then nothing came of it. Ratchet & Clank were in it too, and they never showed up either. Friggin' lame.
