    Okay. Show of hands, who here has used XSplit, and knows that it's a safe/reliable program that's not full of viruses? Because my virus protection decided to be a complete butt and informed me it was a virus when I tried to install it.

    If it's a pirated / cracked version with a keygen or something, then yes. If it's the purchased version, then no. XSplit is a totally safe program. Your antivirus is just showing it as a false positive.

    I would be excited for it if I could understand what Mother games were saying because they are in Japanese and I like English because I am English and I also like to start a series at the beginning unless I don't really have to to understand what is going on

    Mother 4 actually has no relation to the other three, being a fangame and all. You could probably pick it up and understand everything. Not to mention it's going to be free. I'm still upset that NoA and NoE refuse to at least put the official English translation of Mother 1 up on the eShop, though. They put in all of that work and cancelled the game last minute, might as well release it digitally to actually do something with it. :/

    @wakingdawn mother 2 is in english and avaliable on the eshop as earthbound. mother 1 and 3 never came out here but there are translated roms of them. 1 fanmade (mother 3) and 1 never released official translation (mother 1)

    lol. you dont need a great computer to run roms. id bet a computer running even windows 2000 built in 2003 can run snes, gba, and especially nes roms xD

    I still don't get why Nintendo won't ever release M1 and M3 on the eShop outside Japan. They've officially translated M1, and they were sent all of the fan translation files for M3. It's easy money, and they know that a lot of people want them.

    @shulk yeah. especially mother 1 which they already put work into. and mother 3 too but i heard that japanese companies are very prideful and it would be dimining to release a translation not done by themselfs. i hope thats not true.

    Yeah, I heard the reasoning for M3. Either way, I can't imagine it'd take too much work to translate a GBA game.

    That's true. :/ It's something I'm kinda thinking about going into (Not the translating part, but writing the text after the rough translations have been finished, since that's apparently how translation works at NoA), although I don't know a whole lot about it at the moment.

    Yeah, but like I said, it was a GBA game. There couldn't have been a whole lot of text to translate. :/ Of course, I've never played it, so I wouldn't know for sure.

    still an rpg. rpgs are long and diologue heavy. nomatter the system. chrono trigger was long and i think mother 3 is about the same legnth. p.s. sry to all the other people with notifications T_T
