    What? Frieza sounds pretty much the same to me. Gohan (Kid/Teen)and Goten however...*shivers*

    No, it's definitely different- the old one was more raspy and sounded more feminine (which would make sense- his VA for a long time was Linda Young, and it made me think Frieza was a girl for way too long. :P ). The newer one, Chris Ayres, is more smooth and sophisticated sounding, which is fine, but it's not what I grew up with, y'know?

    Well, Ayres was apparently in Cromartie High School, which is a major point in his favor. Still, I liked Young's better because it was a lot creepier and more menacing, not to mention more unique- I'd never before or since heard a main villain sound like an elderly woman. Though again, Ayres is fine and I have no complaints against him; he's just not Frieza to me.

    Nah, I'm sure he's a much better comparison to the Japanese version and much more in line with how Toriyama meant the character to be.

    Xenoblade Chronicles X on the Wii U. It hasn't been released yet, although Japan's getting it next month.

    Yeah, it's a first party Nintendo game. If you've ever played Xenosaga or Baten Kaitos, it's by the same people (They also made Xenogears for SquareSoft before they left the company)

     

    It's looking great so far. The first Xenoblade was amazing, so I'm really looking forward to this one.

    @Shulk You got that right. Ishida is the main author, and he's twisted as hell. A character I assumed was dead, was alive, but 50 times worse. (And he was a support character).

     

    @Sky Get Tatsumi to check into the chapter since he's spoiled. He's gonna freak, I think. . .

    Technically the teacup was Made in China so I'm not sure which stereotype to lampoon. Probably the fancy mum-swearing one. It's what I'm pretending to be by drinking out of my fancy European totally-not-made-in-China cup, after all.
