    Simple trick that always works. Ask them ¨Ḧow are you?" If they say ¨Good, you?¨ respond ¨eh, alright¨ or ¨really great¨ if they ask what it is respond with a significant event...

    Key if they say ¨Good, you¨ without eye contact, they may not want to talk. If they dont ask you what happened then they most likely don't want to talk.
