    Told everyone it was unrealistic to expect Pokemon on the Switch, no clue why people were 100% sure it'd happen. Either way, I'm excited for Pokken Tournament DX, Ultra Sun, and Silver on 3DS!

    I can't wait to see the 3v3 mode! I really hope they show it off at E3 since we know that they're focusing a lot on the game.

    Did everybody seriously expect something super impressive at the Pokemon Direct? I personally enjoyed it but I knew it wasn't going to be anything big since it was only 8 minutes. I really can't wait to get Pokken Tounament Deluxe.

    Same. But I'm surprisingly hyped for Pokken Tournament on Switch. I never got around to getting the Wii U version lol.

    We can probably blame that fake Pokemon Stars rumor for all the disappointment. You'd think people would realize by now that anyone can make up a fake leak... I'm excited for all three of the games that were announced.

    I know it was only 8 minutes, but I'm confused why this was Direct worthy. Pokken for Switch is AWESOME, but they could've just dropped a trailer. I'm also confused why Ultra Sun and Moon is a big deal. Aren't they essentially just the same games?

    Pokemon Directs are always really short, it's just a way to broadcast trailers live and build hype. Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon aren't the same game either, it's an alternate storyline type of deal like Black 2 and White 2 were with Black and White. B2/W2 were massive improvements over B/W, which is why US/UM are a big deal. GameFreak stopped doing enhanced versions after Platinum.

    @James Lutz, Well for one it was only an 8 minute long Direct so that already told me not to expect anything big. You never EVER should get hyped about rumors unless the company of said rumor confirms it. As for Ultra Sun/Moon, well they technically are new since they will have a new alternate story from the original Sun/Moon.

    No problem! I'm thinking that they'll show more of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon at E3 since it was just a short teaser during today's Direct, but it looks like this one's going to have a focus on one of the hidden legendaries from Sun/Moon.

    Personally, and this is coming from a Pokemon fan since the age of 2, I am happy and excited over this Direct! I really liked Pokken on Wii U but it felt short lived, and hopefully the Switch version will fix that. And I can't wait for USUM because it's looking like the BW2 deal back during the BW days! And I also am looking forward to revisiting Johto and Johto's Kanto version because I seriously loved Pokemon Silver! Man I can't wait for the rest of the year! :)

    My biggest issue is that it likely means we won't get any more news at E3 beyond expounding on these titles. They won't announce a Gen 4 remake (especially if it's for the Switch) because it would just cut into US/UM sales. So now we have to wait for after that to find out anything.

    I'm satisfied with that Pokemon Direct, even though I'd have loved to see Crystal on VC as well as Gen 4 remakes. But oh well, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon have me pretty excited!

    I read that this morning. Made me very sad, but 96 was a long and wonderful life. Would that we could all reach that.
