Hey everyone! I am back from my vacation! I had a wonderful time and no heartless or any enemy. I met Mickey and he talked to me. He showed me a magic trick. Not exactly the best trick, but I knew that he could do muck more (as we all have seen).
KingdomHearts3 repliedNo. I met Mickey in the Exposition Hall in the front of the Magic Kingdom. They made it interactive. He talks to you and he'll show you tricks or tell you a joke. If you use fastpass+, he'll greet you by name. It was very cool and I did this yesterday.

"Happy Holidays" pc or lazyness? what is wrong with just saying "Merry Christmas" then just saying "Happy Chanukkah" if the person tells you they're Jewish? I wouldn't be offended if someone mistook me as Jewish (it's happened) and said "Happy Chanukkah" I'd simply tell them that I'm not Jewish. Seems to me that "Happy Holidays" is just an excuse for not having to address someone more than once.
Lalalablah repliedI don't like when people say happy holidays. If I say Merry Christmas to someone who celebrates Hannukah they reply 9/10 times with Happy Hannukah. And I like it better that way, it feels more personal.
Caity repliedIt's general because there's loads of different holidays around Christmas Time and Christmas wasn't the first holiday around that time either. Yule, Hannukah, Kwanzaa, St Stephen's Day, Pagan festivals, etc. "Happy Holidays" just blankets them all to avoid being rude cause some people might feel like you're forcing your holiday on them.
Isamu Kuno repliedTrue it's not the first, but it's the most widely celebrated so it makes sense that it's the go to. Almost every superpower country in the world celebrates it regardless of the most practiced religion in them.
Lalalablah repliedAnd I feel Christmas has become less of a religious tradition, at least where I live. I see Jews and atheists celebrating Christmas just because they like decorating their house with lights and getting gifts, listening to the music, having a Christmas tree, etc. And when people say merry Christmas to a non-Christian, I don't think they say it with the intent of forcing their religion upon them. It's just a kind thing to say, like I said before it feels more personal to me.

Caity repliedPeople can feel the same way about "Merry Christmas" as you do about "Happy Holidays" simply put. The meaning of Christmas has changed from the Birth of Christ to plain gift-giving and over indulgence so loads of people celebrate it but it still has Christian roots that people who aren't christian can feel are being shoved down their throats. Just because you don't find it personally offensive doesn't mean others who have strong beliefs in different aspects don...

Only 12.1% of people who got Final Fantasy VII through Steam finished the equivalent of disc 1. I know I make fun of the game, but dang, poor thing's being neglected. No one's even recommended it through Steam.

Shulk repliedMaybe my Steam's glitching, because it said no one's recommended it. Also, the urban dictionary thing seemed kinda balanced either way. Some say it's good, some say it's bad. It's the arguments like that that kinda make me not want to call myself a FF fan.
Some of those are definitely overly hateful, though. ._.Shulk repliedAlso, you said you have it through Steam? Think you could help me out with some technical stuff then? I got it, but when I launch it, all I get is the thing showing the keyboard options, which flickers, and it won't let me do anything else. I know my laptop sucks, but geez, I thought it could at least work with a game that's over 10 years old.
Shulk repliedIt wasn't that, it just froze there. I got it to work now. The backgrounds are kinda blurry, which doesn't surprise me since my computer sucks, but holy crap the character models are so much clearer than they were on my PSP screen.
Also, I'd use a PC controller, but I don't have one. D:
