Hi there! I'm 13th Vessel, some of you may remember me for some stuff that I found in the past, like the weird rooms in KH3D or the Jungle Book colission file that was inside that same game. This time I wanted to do my research with KH2 and surprisingly I found a lot of unused stuff that was hidden inside the game files. This is a dense research that covers almost every file of the game and it's very interesting because it's strongly tied to Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, so please take a look if you like This video took me a lot of hours, not only the research itself but the video editing too (+15 hours doing the research and +20 making the video). Also, while I was doing the research I noticed that some part of the stuff was previously found by other friends of the KH hacking community, but the thing is that most people ignore it, so I added some names in order to let you know if someone found any of these before. I consider this one of my most ambitious works so I hope you enjoy the video! Lots of regards! 13th Vessel~ This post has been promoted to an article

So i've been playing a couple KH games for the first time, BBS and DDD, and something different i notice about all the games is how you travel from world to world. In kingdom hearts 1, its a relatively simple system where you fly through space one directionally and shoot enemies. KH2 build on this idea and made it a lot harder/more strategic. However, in BBS, you fly a keyblade glider between worlds, and in DDD, you drop. I was wondering if you guys had any predictions for the direction that they will go for KH3? I dont think it will be too similar to BBS or DDD because Sora will be with Donald and Goofy, So i would say that its very likely that we see a gummi ship world travel system again in KH3. I think it will be a lot harder, and maybe even will be multi directional as far as movement goes. What are you guys thoughts on this? Will they stick with a gummi ship system, use something like BBS or DDD, or will it be a totally new system that we havent yet seen? Let me know so we can discuss

Today, I really am eager to talk about some more of Kingdom Hearts! Really! But, I am not interested in super in depth discussion like you normally do. I want to talk about some of the fun aspects within the Kingdom Hearts universe! And as you may have already guessed, I want to talk about the gummi blocks and gummi routes! In this topic, I want to focus it all on the gummi-related things. And we DON'T need to talk about only ONE topic here. You can choose to just chill out and talk about your favorite moments in the gummi routes, and talk about the weird multicolored lumps of gummis in KH1's gummi routes, or even ask for help or give tips on how to achieve the best scores in KH2's various gummi missions! The choice is yours! So, to start things off, without forcing any of you to participate in this exact thing I am bringing up, who wants to talk about the mysterious lumps of gummi blocks in KH1's gummi routes? Rock on!

For KH3, would you want the Gummi Missions to be replaced by an open-world Ocean Between where you can freely fly the Gummi Ship through the Ocean Between to the Worlds while fighting Gummi Heartless and Nobodies along the way? I'm all for this idea completely. I wouldn't want it to be too huge and I'd want the distance between worlds to be about as long as it takes to complete a Gummi Mission from KH2. Gummi Missions are things that many casual KH fans and hardcore KH fans complain about, so I think this would be a great way to turn Gummi Missions into something amazing. It would also be cool to see what the Ocean Between truly looks like canonically since it's sort of hard to tell what it looks like as a whole from the few Gummi Missions there have been in the past. It would also be neat to see what the transition between going from the Realm of Light to the Realm Between looks like and see how the scenery changes. It would be so cool in my opinion to be able to freely pilot the Gummi Ship and customize it more than ever before and adventure through the Ocean Between while coming across hoards of enemies and maybe even getting to be able to land the Gummi Ship on meteors, asteroids, and various other structures and getting out of the Gummi Ship to fight Heartless and Nobodies on them. I also want to mention that I think the warp option should definitely still stay. If you don't want to fly to world to world after you did it once, you shouldn't have to. What are your thoughts on this?

Seeing as its coming back as main travel means id like for it to be expanded on a little more. KH2's Gummi Ship segmants were such an upgrade from the first game but in the 3rd maybe there could be some open field, all range mode kind of feel like for Star Fox, towards the end of a certain mission youll encounter a giant intergalactic Nobody or Heartless ship. And multiplayer could maybe somehow be implemented for dogfights, given there be a balancing system for custom ships.

So, I recently managed to completely finish/platinum all the HD remixes. It was mega fun even though there were some frustrating moments. Gummi ship missions? Never again... When KH3 comes out, i'll be sure to do the same with it. If you've also done this, I have a few questions simply because i'm curious about what others have done. I noticed that, when I looked up a guide for KH2's gummi missions, most people just wanted to get the S rank for one normal and one EX mission each route. Others wanted just an S rank at least for every mission. I can't find hardly anything (guides, ETC.) on people wanting to S+10 all the third missions, EX included. I've done this because i'm a major completionist and it makes me feel like I've fully cleared the missions. A few amount of people on YouTube have commented that they were going to do this, too. - What about you? What have you done when it comes to KH2's gummi ship missions? Did you do just enough to get the trophies, or did you try getting the highest rank on all of them? - My other questions: - To you, was Terra's Lingering Will really that hard to beat? How did your fight go? - - The same question as above, except it's about the Mysterious Figure from Birth By Sleep. - - Which Org. 13 member was the hardest for you to fight in the Cavern of Remembrance? - - While trying to platinum/beat the games 100%, what was your least favorite thing to do, and what was your most favorite? - I guess you can still reply to some of these even if you haven't beaten the games completely. Depends on if you've done the secret bosses or gummi routes. I'm interested in hearing your answers.

KH2 Begginner's Guide on all EX Missions (S-Rank)
soramstr posted a topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Hey, I just finished up a guide to help get ppl through the gummi ship missions. They're really bare bones so there's plenty to improve on in my designs and stuff but I figured it'd be good help to anyone in a bind. -
I am at the end of my rope with this. Hunter X gummi boss was easy by comparidon. Just this one route, nay, MISSION until I get the trophy for S rank on EX missions. I have looked everywhere and nothing. EX Mission 1: 6 shield gummis required. Medals need to be collected Mission 2: Two slash gummis required. Enemy kill count must be 350 or higher Mission 3: 4 slasher gummis required.

After completing everything to do in Gummi Ships in Final Mix, I have come to realize that gummi ships are extremely fun. With customization and missions, the gummi ship portion can keep you entertained for hours. I often hear complaints about how it is boring and unnecessary. That is because you get however much you put into it. It's actually great in terms of game design and can be really challenging. It's great to add to your gummi ship and make missions easier. There a lot of things done right with gummi ships. In terms of story, I think it works great. Traveling between worlds isn't a picnic. It's a life and death struggle every time you travel between worlds. And when you get the warp gummi, you feel extremely relieved. You actually feel what the characters would be feeling. I'm having a hard time putting it into words, but pease feel free to challenge me so we can discuss gummi ships. I think it is a great part of Kingdom Hearts. What do you think?
