Happy Birthday, Walt Disney! What's your favorite Walt Disney era animated film?

Honestly though, it's so hard to choose! Cinderella and Peter Pan will always be some of my favorites. Happy birthday to my #1 Boss!

I'll always have a soft spot for Dumbo. I watched then re-watched the VHS tape I had for it so many times when I was a kid.

I've got to go with Peter Pan .

Cinderella. Watched it just so many times when I was a child xD

Fantasia. It was a product decades ahead of its time...

Cinderella is my favorite. It saved the company and it was wonderfully done. Cinderella is also my favorite princess of all the Disney princesses.

Fantasia, mostly because Night on Bald Mountain and Rite of Spring. But most/all of these are great; 101 Dalmatians, Peter Pan, Cinderella...

I love them all, but Fantasia is definitely one of my top favorites! <3

Where is Beauty and the Beast?

Beauty and the Beast is from 1991. Walt Disney died in 1966, and this poll only includes movies in his era.

I loved Pinocchio so much when I was a kid, but things happened and I ended up afraid of the movie for years (I... can't remember why?), so Cinderella became my favorite of that era afterwards. Sleeping Beauty is also amazing, however.

I like almost all of them but Peter Pan takes the cake

Ah, there's a lot I like, but I went with Cinderella.

Hm, it's probably Bambi and Fantasia for me.

Such a hard choice....

I think i'm gonna have to go with Bambi.

But so many of the others are still absolutely fantastic too.

One Hundred and One Dalmatians! Man I can literally watch that movie all day if I want to! Plus, Pongo and Perdita are one of the best Disney parents in the Disney Animated Canon.

Definitely going to have to go 38th Sword in the Stone. I watched it so many times back when vhs films were still a thing. Ah... the good ol' days...

Gonna have to go with Fantasia since it's the only one I really remember since I hadn't seen these movies since I was a kid (Or hadn't seen at all for some). I only remember watching it multiple times with my family (both the first one and 2000) and being happy while watching it.

Fantasia is a fantastic feat of filmmaking.  I am very happy that Square decided to add a world based on Fantasia in Dream Drop Distance.

Can everything an option? xD

My number one from the list would be a tie between Fantasia and Alice in Wonderland

Happy Birthday Walt! And Fantasia, definitely. Visually and audibly pleasing :D Though I did like Lady & the Tramp as well

Based on this list, I would DEFINITELY have to choose "Peter Pan (1953)"  --  It's My Favorite Fairy-Tale Story!!

Yet, taking another long look at it, I wonder why "The Jungle Book (1967)" is on this list since it was released the year AFTER Walt Disney passed away.  If that movie can be on there, why not also include some of the movies that shortly followed it?  For instance, Walt Disney setup everything needed for "The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh (1977)", even though it did not get released until about 11 years later.

Plus, I consider "Fantasia (1940)" to be both live-action and animated alike.  If that one is on there, why not also count the animated sequences from "Song OF The South (1946)" and "Mary Poppins (1964)"?

Did you mean to ask us what is our favorite FULLY animated Disney Movie(s) that were released specifically during Walt Disney's Lifetime?

I want to include Sword in the Stone. Archimedes was one of our family mascots, we just love that character that much (the laugh ALWAYS gets me LOL)
