its understandable given the circumstances but felt so forced considering all the other shounen type tropes

kh2 is a masterful game for its gameplay but im in the minority that the writing was kinda wack in general bc of the forced tropes lol

i mean we all know kh1 the best story cause it was simple to understand and you got it

KH2 was like hype moments every 2 seconds

kh3 was like "Fast forward to keyblade graveyard"

Here’s the thing about tropes, I think you can work with a trope as long as you make that trope feel special in this particular instance. And I always thought they nailed Sora’s specific level of arrogance

It’s not like he doesnt respect authority

i can agree there. like i said it was understandable and it did fit. just not the trope for me personally

I love when he’s staring down the organization like “and I’m supposed to believe that?” Unphased by them trying to mess with him. It was a huge contrast from Sora in 3D and 3 going “huh what do you mean” every single time they spoke

kh3 sora's perfect mix of silly, lighthearted kh1 style with experienced, matured kh2 hit just right

yeah ddd dialed it back a bit too much

Sora was on autopilot for that one

He looked at the script and just saw “act confused”

tho DDD had him being the most cocky

he was cocky in a stupid way in ddd

he was arrogant and hot headed in 2

there were a lot of scenes like King said where it works out

but others end up a bit awkward

yeah and thats why it didnt sit well with me in general

and talks like this where people aren't clawing each other's throats

yeah, other servers get realllllllly mad when someone has an opinion that's not in the majority, which is the main reason why I'm not in them(and also why I love KH13 )

Like, if I mentioned that KH2 was on tie with DDD being my least favorite game, people would totally get fired up about it.

Yeah, I'm not joking, I don't like KH2.
