Im telling ya

It's gotta be nanalan

Am I the only one that thinks the Land of Departure used to be Scala Ad Caelum some how or related to it?

Probably.

I'm of the opinion that Scala wasn't in Xehanorts head, it's a real world and he was just used as a portal to get there.

Which means it and Land of Departure coexist.

Although I guess that doesn't rule out them being on the same world, different sections.

Scala Ad Caelum is the place where Young Xehanort and Eraqus played chess. It’s a real world. Or it was at one point.

I was messing around in Scala when I noticed the buildings at the top of each town were the same as the Land of Departure

Yeah, although that could be down to, essentially, both being Keyblade Wielder dominated worlds.

Probably connected in the sense Eraqus was trained at Scala and ended up being in charge of departure though ?

Ooooh so the card Luxord gave Sora may come into play with his revival and that's just exciting to know

Cause again, SORA WAS ALREADY GOING TO FIGHT, HE DIDN'T NEED MOTIVATION XEHANORT YOU BUTT

Tbf,they basically were trying not to complete the X-blade for him,so I guess he technically needed to get Sora angry enough or something, but still WHY DID YOU HAVE TO DO THAT,OLD MAN

Sora was very explicitly not going to fight and did in fact need motivation.

They'd outright said they weren't gonna fight Xehanort and forge the last key since that'd be dumb.

They only attacked him in anger after he killed Kairi.

Still sucks though.

Come on Kairi did you have to get kidnapped again.

But still, HOW DARE YOU KILL KAIRI YOU OLD GOATfiretruckER

(I give credit to destiny-islanders for that insult)

its basically why SPOILERS FOR INFINITY WAR Peter Quill attack Thanos and mucks up the entire plan

tmw Kairis 'death' had no impact on me, but Soras reaction did

Because Sora actually has motivation

Kairi could've at least tried putting up a fight tho

I mean she was passed out, perhaps they knocked her out?

she probably did try to break free-offscreen-

When Xemnas grabbed her

Although the way he held her arm looked painful

Tbf theres not much a keyblade weilder who just started training maybe 2 months ago would be able to stand up to XEMNAS in any capacity

True. Some argue that belle was able to elbow Xaldin and she has no combat experience

I mean we dont really know how long they were training but it couldnt have been that long
