On July 26th, 2019, Russi Taylor [the English voice of Minnie Mouse, Huey, Dewey, Louie and Fauna in the Kingdom Hearts series] passed away in her home in Glendale, California due to complications from diabetes. She was 75 at the time of her passing.

Russi Taylor was born on May 4th, 1944 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She began voice acting in 1980 and took over as the official voice of Minnie Mouse in 1987 as well as Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey, Louie in 1990 for the series Ducktales. 

She was also married to Wayne Allwine, former voice actor of Mickey Mouse, from 1991 until his passing in 2009. 

Rest in Peace Russi Taylor and thank you for your 30+ years of voicing Minnie Mouse, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and several other Disney characters. You will be dearly missed.

Awww this so sad! Russi Taylor you were the best Minnie Mouse we ever had! Thank you for your wonderful voice work as one of many famous Disney Characters in the franchise. At least you get to see her husband Wayne Allwine again in heaven. Rest in Peace Russi Taylor!

RIP Russi Taylor I have always enjoyed your Minnie Mouse voice.  First Master Xehanort now Minnie.

RIP. I never knew you, but your voice has been in my head since I was a child.

Man only ten years later after her husband's death... may she rest in peace. She was wonderful as Minnie Mouse and will be dearly missed

The only silver lining here is that somewhere out there she and her beloved husband are reunited. RIP Russi and Wayne, you'll always be Minnie and Mickey Mouse to me.

Oh man so many good actors died in recent years and the saddest part they are not replaced by Something of the same caliber

But wow, that's crazy! I didn't know that she had been Wayne Allwine's wife! The real life Mickey and Minnie are reunited now! This is so heartbreaking, though! I am incredibly saddened to hear of this loss! Thank you for your dedicated work to bringing smiles to people, Russi, may you rest in peace and find happiness with your very own Mickey, Mr. Allwine! May your hearts be your guiding key, always! And thank you for all you did for us! :')

Personally, I don’t care who’s going to be voicing Minnie since she didn’t get a decent amount of screen time in KH III. As a matter of fact, I think I’m starting to become one of those fans who cares more for the main story rather than the Disney Worlds.
