Yeah that's a given

I feel like turn based doesn’t really fit modern games

Modern AAA games yes

But games like Bravely Default and others made by smaller studios but published by big companies will always be welcome

But I highly doubt FF will return to those roots in a mainline title
Since FF has always tried to innovate/try new things

I do think if they remake another FF it'd be cool to see it turn based however

Now after action. It'll be 1st person

Then racing

depends on the scale of the remake imo

ffvii did amazing with its action oriented gameplay in the remake

but that was practically a new game with how big of a jump that was lol

i want an action game with FF8 or just a gunblade in general

dissidia is the closest

if they can properly implement the gunblade's timing attacks that would be sick

iirc in dissidia they just made his EX burst do double damage instead
