I just wanted to see everyone else's opinions on the two couples I met this RokuNami fan, and she kept going on and on and on about how RokuNami is her favorite.

 

So, which do you prefer?

 

I does not own pictures (This is not to start an argument over. Just wanted to see who likes which pairing)

I don't see any romance or even a hint of it between Roxas and Namine, they only met a handfull of times for like, 5 minutes at a time...and that's supposed to spawn a budding romance? lolwut? @_@

As much as I don't care for either, I did see somethings going on between Roxas and Xion while trudging through the game. More than I could see between Roxas and Namine anyway.

As much as I don't like to get involved with fan pairing debates, I do have an opinion on this one.

 

Namine: A girl who Roxas met about 5 times in his life and got him to start questioning the world he was living in at the time.

 

Xion: A girl who Roxas knew for almost a year, was one of his two only friends, got him to start questioning the world he was living in at the time, shed tears over her death, and went on a suicide run to Kingdom Hearts since he thought it might bring her back.

 

Both had an impact, sure, but Xion just makes more sense. Overall, they were all just friends (sorry fangirls), but Roxas and Xion were DEFINITELY closer.

I'm with Koko. That selfcest is freakin' wierd. And Namine can't love Roxas back, having no heart, so he's out of luck there.

 

Roxas is forever alone.

Poor Roxas True, though. I'm always thinking, "How in the name of Ansem is Roxas suddenly in love with Namine?" Not that I have anything against the couple, it's just that RokuShi makes a bit more sense. Roxas knew Namine for what, 3 to 10 minutes? And Roxas knew Xion since like, his entire life! He grew a lot closer to Xion, while only having a 2 minute conversation with Nami in KH 2.

 

No offense to anyone, though. Both are cute pairings. Though, in my opinion, it looks like Xion might be paired with Roxas becuase in the trailer for KH3D, "Xion" appears next to Roxas, pointing her keyblade at Roxas like in that one scene in Days.

You just made me change my opinion from Roxas and Naminé to Roxas and Xion.

How and why is this in the 'personal' board? I thought this board was for the super-depressed and sad people.

I'm a fan of both pairings, but Roxas definitely has more chemistry with Xion than he does with Naminé. All technical "selfcest" matters aside...

 

With Naminé, I feel like it's more of a one-sided crush (her liking Roxas, of course). There does appear to be sort of a mutual thing between them toward the end of KH2, but up until that point, Roxas doesn't seem to care that much about her at all--he only talks to her because he wants answers about himself.

 

Of course, with Xion, Roxas is never able to get her off his mind, and is always concerned about her when she goes missing or whatever. He also has a conversation or two with Axel about it (LOL like the one where Axel was telling him not to push the wrong buttons with girls). So I definitely see a lot more going on with this pairing than the former.

 

But really, either one works for me!

As much as i love the Rokushi pairing, i have to go with logic and say Rokunami, cuz Xion=Roxas and Sora, Just like Koko said

Considering that Naminé told Roxas "You were never supposed to exist."

And then when Xion was dying, Roxas first thought was. "No! Who am I meant to have ice-cream with now?!"

Neither looks like a relationship to me. Not let's put this behind us and realise that AkuRoku is obviously the true relationship!

Rokushi and RokuNami? wouldnt it be RoXion and RoXmine? well any way i like RoxasXXion, Why? because although they are both apart of the same person (sora) they had a stronger relationship than namine (although namine and roxas are good together, Xion and roxas are a better pairing http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/happy.png)

I prefer Namine and Ventus... even thought they have never met I still think there's something between those two. I can't help it, they look so similar to each other and they both have the same innocent personality.

 

Maybe will find out in KH3 .

Rokushi

Rokushi of course. It actually had development.

Roxas and Xion makes infinitely more sense, putting aside the rather *erm* technical aspects. The relationship between Roxas and Naminé felt completely and utterly forced. The absolute most there could be would be a "love at first site" crush/infatuations, but a real spark, real love, takes time. Roxas knew Xion for almost a year, spent nearly everyday thinking about her, being with her, or worrying about her. Xion, barring the times she was consumed by her identity crisis, was the same. The fact that both Xion and Roxas are part of the same person could actually create even more of a connection. Also, wouldn't Roxas/Naminé also pose similar problems to Roxas/Xion, seeing as Naminé also came from Sora's body? Plus, Axel/Roxas would be weird considering the age difference. At this point, it would seem the only sensible conclusion would be that there is no pairing that could be cannon, especially due to Disney's kid friendliness. Which would mean, that the relationship between Roxas/Xion/Naminé/Axel is purely on a platonic friendship basis.

 

Long essay post aside, I prefer Roxas/Xion, as they had much more development, and I just generally like Xion better than Naminé.

Roxas and Kairi. Nuff said.

None of them work since Namine is practically a ghost (necrophilia) and Xion IS ROXAS (selfcest?)

 

Clearly if there was meant to be any pairings the candidates wouldn't be so firetrucked up. Friendship is one of the themes of KH, not love.

 

Then again we are talking about a JAPANESE game so...
