I prefer the first one. It has almost moved me to tears more than once, because there is so much emotion in it. The second one, not so much, though it is still an awesome song.

I think the first one suits him better..its sad but sort of soft and mellow too lol as for the other promise, I like it, and its sad too but it sounds so much more dramatic, not that it's a bad thing though. ;P

Honestly I think both of them have the potential to make me cry though lol.

i like the first version

Both. o_o

I like the second one better too. It has the sad vibes in it and I also believe it expresses Roxa's emotions in it also. I think all of the pain and confusion in his life is translated better in this version, but that's just me.

I loke both but mostly the 1st one it's more drammatic and I like things that are kinda moody and dramatic.

I think the second version is like... more powerful, it shows the power of Roxas. Even through his life weren't always happy.

long version is the best but i think the short version fits Roxas better though

It has to be The Other Promise, but not that chizzy Days version. Go with the KH2FM or piano version.

EDIT: Just looked at that vid. Whatever nub uploaded it labeled it wrong. It is the FM version.

The Piano Collection version of "Roxas."

The others are just a bit too grand.

I like the second one better. It's so much more emotional, matching Roxas's story. I almost cried at the end of 358/2 Days.

Both are great songs it's hard to choose.

I feel like the second one suits him more, it has the crescendos and decrescendos which can reflect how Roxas has had moments that are down and horrible but he still has the good ones, even if his overall story is sad.

While I like the second one better, the first one is definitely more fitting imo.

I like the first one more, because it gave me shivers down my spine, and it really spoke to me.  I also think it suits him because of all the things he went through, and because KH2 was the first KH game I played. ^_^

This. Also the first song is "Roxas Theme." The second song is "The Other Promise" so...
