I'm not afraid, because I know that when I die, I'll go to heaven and see Jesus.

Yeah, more than anything else.

Nope. When I'm finished, I hope not to be mourned over. That's all. My beliefs are that once your dead, your dead. There is no afterlife. It just doesn't make sense to me that there is somewhere. If someone has proof that there is (non-religiously), i'd like to know.

im not afraid im even ready to die.

YOLO. I'm not afraid of death, just a painful death. It just makes me feel sad that I won't see humanity reach the final frontier, make first contact, etc, but just as long as I make the most of my life, treat people fairly, and contribute to humanity in a meaningful way, I will be happy and embrace death.

im not afraid im even ready to die.

dat's sad. Why?

just not afraid

just not afraid

Oh, that's cheers me up. I thought it was for other reasons.

(prepare for the emo side of me)

Death awaits all of us. Whether we fear it or not makes no difference. I myself am a little nervous about death, but not really afraid of it. I could die, and I honestly think it would make no difference to anyone, so why should I be afraid? Its going to come for me eventually. What makes me nervous is that I don't know what lies after that. I've never been very religious, but I think there's more to death than lying six feet under. There's so much that makes a person really "alive", your spirit, your personality, that it can't just be that it stops and goes away when you die.

Its not like I would afraid death. I think that more scary about death is that you lose people important to you and ofcourse you don't want that happen.

Real life death of course, whether it be suicide or something else, death is always the same, no matter what course you take to achieve it.

When that time ever comes, it comes.

I'm not afraid of death itself but rather afraid of what people who are close to me are gonna do. I don't like seeing people in pain and I'm sure nobody else does. So as long as it's not painful or anything like that I know I'll be okay

If you believe that you disappear from existence upon dieing then why are you not afraid? That makes death sound like a bad thing... something that should be feared.

As for proof of the afterlife from a non-religious view... impossible. If you believe in religion (and I think nearly all religions are this way) the afterlife is not a place in our world. If it's not in our world... and I think we can all agree that there's no way to view what's in other worlds... then it is impossible to obtain physical evidence of it's existence. No testimonial evidence either, since (according to my religion anyway) it is impossible to come back from the afterlife... and even if you could / even in religions that believe that it is possible... a person who does not believe in any afterlife will simply not believe the witness's testimony (either passing it off as lies, a hoax, or insanity).

As for me... I don't fear death at all. And I do believe in the afterlife... specifically I believe in Heaven, Hell, and a temporary Purgatory. You could say that I fear the possibility of ending up in Hell, but I really don't think that I'm going there so I don't ever worry about it. And Heaven is so much better than Earth so I have no reason to want to avoid death. As a matter of fact, if I was given the choice to die or to live on Earth forever I'd choose death. Living forever completely removes the possibility of ever going to Heaven which is eternal punishment in itself.

You make an extremely good point. I'm Agnostic. I'm just unsure of which is fact and hoax. If a light could guide me to the right direction, I would follow it. I'm not afraid because it happens to every single person ever made. It is eventually coming, and there's nothing you can do about it. I don't let it bother me because i'll just waste the time I have left alive.

Kind of afraid and kind of not afraid :I Not afraid because hey we all know we're gonna die whenever the hell we're gonna die xD But afraid because well actually it's kind of personal o.o

im terrified of death but i believe in reincarnation because i simply can't grasp the concept of dying and just not existing anymore and i'm iffy about the concepts of hell and heaven.

Koko said what I'm thinking.

I'm not afraid, because I know that when I die, I'll go to heaven and see Jesus.

That's how I feel too. :) Just like Sora knew without a doubt that KIngdom Hearts is light, I know without a doubt that when I die I will go to heaven and see Jesus.

nope. death isn't the end, it's a beginning

I afraid but at the same time I am not afraid. We all know that it will happen and pretty much there is nothing you can do. But I just hope I don't die at a young age I want to experience life have a family and etc.. before my time is up. Since I don't know what will happen. If it's the end, the beginning, or reincarnation. I guess don't know.

I'm not afraid of my own death. But I'm afraid of seeing the people I love the most dying... And as I believe that there's afterlife, death isn't the end in my way of viewing things.
