I forgot his role in the game but I do remember it being pointless and stupid. It was really a waste of a good villain.

 

Also, can Ansem/Yen Sid's new voice acter play his voice as good as the old one? I don't see anyone replacing a voice like Captain Hook's and I want his voice to be the same.

Um...I think he was a plot device/comic relief. So yeah, it really was a waste. And it was the same in the other KH games I think. The games do not portray Captain Hook as a really good villain.

That's so pathetic... compare that to his story in Kingdom Hearts I and... OMG that's just really retarted. One of my favorite Disney Villains having such a stupid story. This is one of the reason why I hate 358/2 Days and haven't played it for 2 years.

Not much else comes to mind when thinking of shit characters compared to how they were meant to be so I can see where you feel that way about it all.

I hate 358/2 Days and haven't played it for 2 years.

 

I think it was to show how worlds that were not in KH2 were still affected by the darkness even though we didn't hear about them.

The least Trollmura can do is put Neverland in Kingdom Hearts 3 and give him a better role.

Hook was really a waste of space and I didnt enjoy Neverland in the game like I did in the other games. The only thing that made me happy it was in the game was because you got to fly using any Organztion 13 member.

I agree Hook could have been used for a big part of the game.

His role was to unwittingly use the greed in his heart to fulfill Pete's plan to create an army of heartless for Maleficent.

The game makes him look like a bad pirate who can't do anything right and can't find any treasure... You don't even get to fight him! It's still one of my favorite games though!

I guess it's just to act as a pawn for Pete's odd and evil schemes. Was it necessary? Well, what's Never Land without a good old crocodile fearing pirate to roam and pillage the seas? I guess then you could argue the fact that Peter Pan should have been in it as well, as well as the Lost Boys, but then that would probably end up with Roxas's (I cannot accurately tell you as to whether that second 's' should be there, but it shall stay nonetheless ) cover being blown too far out of the small lake it resided in

Christopher Lee MUST return! I demand it as the selfish spoiled American brat that I am, and will accept no less! (Actually, the fact remains is that if I accepted none less, I probably wouldn't have played Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days or Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, so yes, as much as I'd love Christopher Lee to return as Ansem [in whatever role he may play in the future.], I will put up with the character swap, so long as the voice actor doesn't sound horrible.)

In Kingdom Hearts 1 he was actually on a moderate difficulty level. BBS is exactly what you said.
