I get video games about once or twice a month. Usually just KH games or interesting FF games. And TWEWY or Animal Crossing:)

tutti frutti. I usually buy new games when I have at consistent like about them, such as liking the LoZ, KH, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, etc. But a majority of the time I will buy used in order to save money on games, so long as I can return the game that I don't like.

now and then. Like i have KH3D and Darksiders 2 preorder. I also plan to preorder Pokemon Black 2 and the Assassin's Creed PS Vita bundle. So this year i am getting a lot of new games

Depends on the year the games I really like come out.

I rarely buy games new, unless it's KH. I usually buy games if they're used or on sale because I'm cheap. :D

Since it's very expensive over here, just once in a while once I gather enough money or stuff.

Oh, more often than I probably should, even though I end up never finishing half of them because I just plain suck.

I get about two a month roughly?

I only buy games that I really want, so in other words, I don't buy that much games. I only buy the ones that really have my interest, like Kingdom Hearts or Assassin's Creed. :)

It depends on what it is. A majority of my new game purchases are pre-orders or games near the release day. If it's an older game, I'll usually just get a used copy.

Depends a lot when a game gets released, like this year alone I am looking forward to Theatrhythm Final Fantasy (pre-ordered), KH3D (pre-ordered), Pokemon BW2, Borderlands 2 (pre-ordered), WoW: Mists of Pandaria, Torchlight 2 (pre-ordered) and I am sure there will be other titles along the way.

If I want to play a game that I am not sure if I should buy it brand new I'll just rent it...

If only I had a lot of money lol

Unless people have a job, a lot of Birthday/Christmas money or seriously rich parents I've no idea how they afford to do it very often, but maybe that's just me.

'Not very often... It's expensive, and I can't keep buying many games in a short amount of time...'

So just figures that over the next year I want more games than I've probably ever done before. KH3D, Animal Crossing 3DS, Harvest Moon: ToTT, Harvest Moon: A New Beginning (though idk when that's out), Professor Layton: Mask of Miracle, Black/White 2, possibly Theatrhythm 'cause the demo is stupidly addictive considering it only lets you play like 2 examples... Oh and I need to buy a decent drawing tablet on top of all that, yup. I've got about $80 in Texas and £100 here in England so I'm hoping to pull off the drawing tablet, Black/White 2, KH3D and maybe one other game this year. The rest are either not top priority or are coming out after Christmas/my Birthday (2/2) so hopefully I'll have more money for them by then.

Maybe 1 or 2 a month. Some I just don't finish, and others I take an incredibly long time to finish.

Money is a problem, so not that often. Also, there's not that many games I like that I'd buy.

don't discuss illegal actions such as theft. :U

It depends on how much money I got

lately i have been buying 1 a week or more, but that's because i have been sick for 19 straight months and i get bored just sitting around my house being sick, so i buy games to keep me distracted from the pain, occupied, and amused, but if i wasn't sick i would prob be the once in a while category, being in your house 99% of your time in pain makes you go crazy without a distraction, mine is video games, because that's all i can do really

I normally buy a game once every couple of months

I haven't bought a game since December last year (Pokémon White)

I usually don't buy games, so one game in 2 years.

Maybe one or two over the course of the year (if I had a job, this number would increase substantially)

I don't buy much games, but my next game will be KH3D

Recently I've had to save for drivers ed so not very many new games for me (with the exception of KH3D of course)

I've got only one word piracy

It kind of depends if I have enough money to buy a game.

I buy them every now an then. I am very picky when it comes to games (and books), so I only buy games that I have heard about before hand. Impulse game buys don't really work out for me. I also have a back log of games to beat, and I have KHDDD pre-ordered, so I am trying to keep myself from buying new games (even though I really want to buy Pokemon Conquest).

ONLY IF I DO SOMETHING FOR A LONG TIME THAT IS GOOD! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
