So far, which KH game is your least favorite?

I guess I'd go with 358/2 Days, not that I don't like Xion or Roxas, but I dunno... The mission thing didn't have a good impact on me....

And you?

  • firetrucking Chain of Memories. I still haven't beat firetrucking Vexen. That firetrucking whore

  • Coded by far

  • Coded was the most unessential to the story and did at points bore me with the blocks and the requirements, and you have to get the trophies to get the secret ending and that was sorta a pain.

358/2 story was good missions werent great, CoM I HATE THOES CARDS butbthe story was good, recoded was just weird, but wasnt too bad

Re:coded.

The re-release on DS was a good idea, but it was just another rehashing of KH 1 except with multicolor boxes this time and without Tarzan again, since they lost the rights... That was probably my favorite world in the original too.

Tarzans world rocked xD

Days - That Mission Feature really, really annoyed me.

They are all freakin awesome,There is always something diff. and cool. :) Ya need each game to understand the series and each game gives more to certain character/s that u can't put in one game(if they did, series would be short) :D

Re:Coded.

This one was still important to the series, but it had the least to contribute story-wise.

Pretty much all you had to do was watch the secret ending.

Wait what happened to tarzan and what rights did they loose? :(

For me it's Coded because it's story is pointless.

While I believe it was important to teh story, re:coded was my least favorite. Story mode was way to short, and honestly, collecting the trophies is just more effort and time wasted than its really worth. The gameplay was okay, but it could get old. I think the worst part was the Olympus Coliseum--doing all those layers over and over was murder.

Wait what happened to tarzan and what rights did they loose? :(

I think disney lost the rights to use Tarzan in anything, that's why it's never been mentioned in other games.

Ahh! I read this wrong. I voted for BBS by accident, because I thought it asked which was our favorite....

I haven't played Coded and I don't plan to. I watched the cutscenes on youtube and it looks boring. Like many people have said already, it has very few to offer story-wise. Everything Coded stands for could be compacted in a secret ending in one of the other games.

However, I have played Chain of Memories and it made me want to bash the screen in with my head. The card system was horrible. It didn't make any firetrucking sense at all and even my strongest attacks were cockblocked. It took me AGES to beat Vexen. I actually had to restart the whole game, because the leveling system was so stupid. I haven't beaten Marluxia yet and I don't think I ever will. I'm not willing to see reasonably powerful attacks being blocked because a pink haired man divided by zero or whatever. Story-wise, I wasn't impressed, but Chain of Memories was very important to connect the events of KH1 and KH2, so...

Coded, you're the weakest link.

I can't choose and I won't choose. They're all the same to me.

I love them all!^^

It's like children..you could never pick a favorite!:)

from least to favorite

7.Days (no surprise)

6.BBS (yes its true dont deny the truth)

5.Re:Coded (better gameplay than both of the two games before it)

4.Re:COM (is the the only kh game that requires actual strategy and not button mashing)

3.DDD (i will never let go of how messed up the endings were lol)

2.KH1 ( first game in the series come on now)

1.KH2 (Has the biggest story and all around no game in the series has beaten it yet DDD was close)

358/2 days & Coded. Becuase they're too hard. Along with Re:Chain of Memories for the same reason. Only one thing I don't like about KH2. When I try to go to Agrabah,

, only 0:18-0:33 happens, then it freezes, but I'm allowed to skip the cutscene, & when I skip it, never ending black-screen. So I'm never able to complete the game. I don't know whether to blame it on the PS2, or the disc. Somebody help me!

At first, I was gonna pick Coded, or CoM...

But I never fully played CoM, and I DID enjoy Re: Coded. It was a lot of fun, even if it was a bit repetitive. I liked it, since I've never played KH1.

So... none. I really liked all the games!

Re:Coded felt like a waste of time - to me at least. I wanted new worlds but instead I got the old ones with no new significant info to the story. But I didn't like the card system in Chain of memories..... I gotta go with coded as my least fav. I really didn't like it.

Coded hands down, i mean it just screamed FILLER at least CoM and Days added something to the plot whereas Coded.. all it had going for was the secret ending >:/

Story-wise, my least favorite is coded. Game play-wise, CoM was my least favorite. I voted CoM, because even though I highly value the story in games, the card system was frustrating in boss battles, and normal battles took too long. The card based map system also stunk (looking at you, door that requires a blue zero).

It saddens me, because CoM is tied with Days* for my favorite plots in the series.

/comeatmehaters

KH2 IT'S TH BEAST KH GAME xD the combat is great, the storyline is great, the worlds are great (FAK YOU AGRABAH!!), the secret bosses are great(?)! ALL OF KH2 IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! :P

wtf....whys is coded the best = and chain of memories THE COMBAT IS FRUTSTRATING >: D

Coded hands down, i mean it just screamed FILLER at least CoM and Days added something to the plot whereas Coded.. all it had going for was the secret ending >:/

This. Coded to me was a filler. All that was important was the secret ending.

I hate the stupid card thing from CoM/Re:CoM, but I can over look that because coded/Re:coded had the weakest story in the series by far. Even Days had me invested to a small degree. I only finished Re:coded for completion's sake, but that game was firetrucking boring. >:/

KH1/FM = Arguably the most difficult. Intriguing story. Fairly poor... Or I suppose I should just say early-2000's graphics.

Re:CoM/CoM = Most annoying game play. Uninteresting Disney levels. Subtitled cutscenes, except for those in Castle Oblivion. Exciting story, introducing us to "the Organization".

KH2/FM+ = Less difficult than KH1. Arguably the most interesting story. Great graphics. More straight-forward game play.

Days = Fairly interesting "behind-the-scenes' insight of Roxas' life within the Organization. Great new character in Xion. Very short speaking cutscenes, all else were subtitled. Poor graphics, aside from those few speaking cutscenes. Meh game play.

BbS = Interesting, yet arguably more difficult new game play. Nice prequel-type story. Great new characters. Links events of the past and present together well. Impressive graphics. Quality cutscenes.

Re:coded/Coded = Fairly unnecessary story. Unimaginative game play. Fairly poor graphics, other than the incredibly short cutscenes.

DDD = Fine continuation of KH2. Links people and events together from throughout the series, much like BbS. Includes its fair share of surprises. Interesting new and old villains. Great graphics. Cool cutscenes. Large maps, but not too much to do other than go from A to B.

And the winner of least likable game in the series is...

Re:coded/Coded!

I haven't actually finished Re:Coded and haven't played 3D, so it comes down to CoM and Days, and I think I'd have to go with Days, I mean, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't good, at least, I think it could have had some improvements.

How can people love Coded? It's Not IMPROTANT for the story....!

That's what I think about Days...
  • 4 weeks later...

In general I hate all the spinoffs of the KH searies.

I hated the story in CoM, but I had fun with the card mode game it was pure stategy, so in the end I kind of like it.

I hated the story in 358/2days, we didn't need more Soras, and less as a girl, it was weird.

I hated the coded just because it was for celphones, so I dont like te recoded too.

And I hate the final mix version becose they were released just in japan, and I couldnt play them.

and I don't like the story in KH3D but its a kind of sequel like Chain of Memories or Birth by Sleep, so its helpless.

so much hate hehe

but I love Sora so I keep playing the games anyway.
