If so, then I guess I'd have to say this is one of my favorite Final Fantasy cutscenes of all time!

 

That scene really does make my heart feel all warm and fuzzy, more than any other honestly.

In all seriousness, this is my favorite scene in the series. You can really see Hope's frustration, and he finally gets to drive the knife into Snow (metaphorically) that Snow has had coming to him.

Aww, sweet scene... I haven't played FF XIII yet, but this certainly makes me want to! Did you like it?

i know it is super cliched but this scene is incredible. its the emotional high point in this game. the graphics music and emotion combine for greatness. like i said super cliched but it shouldnt be left off any of these kind of lists.

I loved it. It's my favorite game for the PS3. It's story is amazing and the characters are deep. Hope is my favorite character. Get the game.

Oooh yes! I love that scene, too. Probably one of the most romantic FF scenes, come to think of it.

Hope reminds me a lot of Ventus, though I cannot quite say why... As for the game, I think I really should try it. I've heard so many terrible things about the game, though I think it's probably a matter of preferences and what everyone's looking for.

Final Fantasy has so many beautiful moments! My own favorite is probably from FFI, though, of all the games.

 

It's that moment right at the end, when it shows this picture

 

Except it's all purple, and it explains that now that you've severed the time loop, everything you did never happened at all.

 

It just struck me as beautifully poignant. The friends you made and all the people you helped don't know who you are anymore and will never know what happened, but the world is safe, and so all you can do is walk into the sunset. The four who remembered.

This is so hard. There are so, so many. I think one of my favorite scenes, though (don't know if it's my exact favorite, as it's too hard too choose) is the "You're Not Alone" bit from FFIX. FFIX had so many great themes, and Zidane taught everyone so much. And here, at the climax, he's been given some rough news. But his friends--and his love, Dagger--are there to be there for him like he was them. And the track "You're Not Alone" is just amazing. Here's a great fandub. I'd link a non-fandub version, but this one cuts out the battles, and highlights the important moments of this part. IX is such a wonderful, underrated game...

I loved the ending of this game. Many people didn't like it, or the game as a whole but i certainly did. I though Caius was a fantastic villain with a great and tragic story.

Always liked this little scene from Chocobo's Dungeon 2. The lack of music makes it even worse. ;__;

I really like when cloud drops her in the water... Also this brings back memories of anger because I spent a lot of time leveling her up. It still makes me mad thinking about it.

We should probably put this in spoilers because we've got someone on this thread who might play the game...

 

 

If you didn't know the story, Serah's death didn't make any sense. But knowing that she died because she is a Yeul made it so tragic- especially since she's Noel's, what, fourth Yeul death. I think her death was well done, and the part where Noel grabs her and holds her was really touching. I don't know whether I want her to stay dead or not. If she did, it would be more dramatic and realistic. If she comes back to life I'll be happy because I truly liked her.

 

Nice jump for Hope too

 

I wasn't a fan of the ending though. I didn't like the whole "your adventure meant nothing, let's nuke the world." I think it would have been nice to get a happy ending.

 

Unfortunately, I can't find a good video for it, but the ending to FF Agito was crazy sad. I don't know what was going on, but I just wanted to crawl in a hole and die.

Good to know! Admittedly, I had read a plot summary on FF Wiki of XIII multiple times before getting the game (XIII was my first Final Fantasy). It helped me understand the story, and instead of spoiling it, it made me love it.
