What do the other Org members DO? Early on, they make a big deal about how everybody has their own specific role to play in the Organization...

They also say that collecting hearts is their main goal, and only Roxas can do that.

So WHY do they send him on so many missions that involve NOT fighting heartless, or fighting pureblood heartless?

Why don't they send the other members to take out pureblood heartless and shadow blots, do reconnaissance, that sort of thing... and just have Roxas collect hearts?

What are the other members doing that's so important that they can't be doing this stuff, when there are six of them, and only one person (Either Roas or Xion) at a time can collect hearts?

Seriously, what do THEY contribute to the Org?

Somewhere in the game, I think at the start, Someone says that the organisations goal was to get someone with a keyblade to collect hearts for them, until Roxas came along. So maybe they were just getting members at the start. I think Roxas was sent on useless missions like fighting a pureblood heartless because the creators didn't want to make it THAT repetitive and because the other members were to lazy to do them.

Xemnas sits on his chair all day

Saix gives out missions to the members

Xaldin goes on missions doing... whatever

Lexaeus does the same

Same with Zexion

and Xigbar, Luxord, Marluxia and Larxene

Vexen creates experiments

Demyx plays with his Sitar

Axel sleeps

and Roxas and Xion collect hearts.

Not a very organized organization.

If I had to guess, I'd say

 

Xemnas is supreme overlord. He comes up with the plans. He can do what he wants.

Saix, as was stated, divvy's out jobs.

Xaldin and Lexaeus could just be buff bouncer dudes, like they were in KHBBS. For when the organization has parties.

I figured Xigbar was mostly a sneaky scouting-out-the-layout kind of guy.

Luxord organizes game night. He seems like he'd be a good bet in infiltrating places too, just not in the same way as Xigbar.

Marluxia and Larxene probably just do random stuff that needs to be done? Like trying to figure out castle oblivion, stuff like that.

Vexen is definitely the scientist, so he likely has a lab somewhere, with heart experiments like the replica project.

Zexion is clever. Maybe he helps Vexen out with experiments? He did grow up exposed to a laboratory environment.

Demyx... definitely plays his sitar. Maybe they have music night or something?

Axel is tricksy. He does the little jobs that no one else is supposed to know about. Like getting half of the organization killed. Assassin, I guess?

Roxas and Xion are the heart collectors, like you said.

Xemnas is the figurehead who most of the members are afraid of.....so basically he "supervises". And sits on top of the Castle staring at Kingdom Hearts.

Xigbar is the clever little sneak who is the eyes and ears of the Organization and himself sometimes.

Xaldin...not so sure. Maybe to teach his philosophy about hearts and feelings to Roxas.

Vexen O___o the creepy scientist who thinks the world is his his oyster, the people in it, experiments *cough*Roxas and Xion*cough*.

Lexaeus is the effective weapon that is silent but deadly....and smacks Roxas when he isn't following orders.

Zexion is the thinker and extremely intellectual (yeah Vexen has a brain too but for some reason I think Zexion would outsmart him). He also teaches literature classes for the Organization members on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Saix is the "verbal" enforcer who hands out nutty missions and points out the others' laziness.

Axel is the tricky yet loyal best friend to Roxas and Xion who also has to keep them in line.

Demyx....he likes to play the sitar, sitar wherever he goes oh oh oh. And complain....and be lazy....maybe some comic relief.

Luxord is the person they call when they need someone to befuddle, gamble their life, or visit Wonderland.

Marluxia...the creeper who wants the Keyblade and teches Roxas the difference between a Heartless and Pureblood...serves as a hair consultant on Saturdays.

Larxene is the one who jabs at people with harsh comments and teaches magic unwillingly.

Roxas is the super confused teen who isn't supposed to exist, wields a Keyblade, and has lovely hair.

Xion.....who? Huh? Don't know that name....but my memories feel fuzzy. Jk, she is the other super confused teen who is really truly not meant to exist, also wields a Keyblade, and is half of Roxas.

 

I'd actually like to know who they were before they became nobodies and why they became nobodies Minus the first 6, Axel, Saix, and Roxas.

Xigbar: He spies on the others and drowns goldfish in his spare time

Vexen: Does experiments and laughs that creepy laugh.

Lexaeus: Does the odd jobs and what not

Zexion: Reads and helps Vexen I guess.

Saix: Gives out the orders.

Axel: Sleeps and eat ice cream. Also the organizations assassin.

Demyx: Plays sitar and dreams of one day making an album. Sometimes does recon missions.

Luxord: Plays poker with the others sometimes and does the missions in wonderland.

Marluxia: Tends to the garden and fixes the organizations hair.

Larxene: Makes small children her victims.

Roxas and Xion: Does the real work, collecting hearts.

They adventure and get drunk ( They are all except roxas/ xion 20-30 years old so face it XDDD) and they stalk riku and sora after a year.. what DID they do before riku and sora? o.o just wait for more nobodys? I really wonder how they freakin found them too like was there a tracking device?

There's always more that can be done to get to know a world and how to take over it, or at least get strong heartless and Nobodies

I've always wondered too...I assume everyone's missions involves spreading the heartless around for Roxas and Xion to destroy. They look at worlds, see what's going on, come up with ways they can use this to spread darkness and heartless...

 

I have no idea what they've been doing the past 9 or so years before Roxas came though...research on the heart, I guess, and formulating their plans.

Xemnas oversees eveything. In other words, he sits all day, thing about nothing (see what I did there?)

Xigbar just walk around the castle doing his not funny catch phrases, he's so proud of

Xaldin go to Beast's Castle to, you know, mess around with people's lifes turn Beast into a Heartless and Nobody

Vexen just go after the other members "You're only number VI, how dare you!" And then shuts himself in the lab, because no one likes him

Lexaeus poses tough pensative man all day long

Zexion reads his book, Forever Alone

Saix poses as Xemnas secretary, and does some housekeepers services

Axel makes sure people got it memorized, or sleeps

Demyx plays the sitar, and when he gets tired, he sleeps too

Luxord tries to make other members play cards with him, but since he always cheats, he ends playing cards with his Gambler (Forever Alone)

Marluxia oversses Catle Oblivion, just sits around waiting for Sora and watches him with his big crystal ball

Larxene gives insane laughs all the time

Roxas and Xion do their icky jobs

 

But now talking seriously:

Xemnas comes up with the plans, what to do next, their next's steps, etc

Xigbar goes on so missions, but probably discuss his plans with Xemnas. Also lurks around trying to get info

Xaldin only goes to Beast's Castle really, to get info, but he's only interested there

Vexen does the experiments for the Organization XIII, so researches new stuff everyday

Lexaeus only thinks things through really

Zexion, together with Lexaeus take care of the basement Castle Oblivion.

Saix gives missions and runs Xemnas some errands, because he's one of the only controlled ones (the whole KH3D plot)

Axel goes on missions, mostly secret ones, to kill people

Demyx usually doesn't go the places he's supposed to, he only like the recognition ones.

Luxord goes on missions too

Marluxia controls Castle Oblivion, the upper floors

Larxene helps Marluxia

Roxas and Xion get hearts

 

Well, the missions have some sort of interest for the Organization. Xemnas metions something about how they discovered some things while they were trying to acheive their own goals (a cutscene before Sora battles him in KH3D). It's not fully known, but they did do some recognition that would prove useful for this goals, and help Roxas know where to go for Heartless. The Pureblood ones could be getting on their way, so he was told to get rid of them, things like that.

All I know is that in the Days manga it shows Saix yelling at Demyx because he was supposed to be doing recon but instead screwed around with his scitar and wrote fake report saying "Found: stuff Did recon at: i forgot" lol

 

Axel goes on missions, mostly secret ones, to kill people

I think its left to the imagination of the gamer, which is fair enough. Xaldin does offer a hint with his efforts with Beast in Beast's castle, subtly gathering enough intel to attempt to gain his heartless and nobody.... a heartless that either Roxas or Xion would take down. If you imagine that similar missions were being carried out in other worlds then it isn't hard to see how the other members spend their time. I mean HOW LONG DID XALDIN TAKE DOING RECON?!!? like the whole game? and only really made a move in KH2, right? I don't think we need exact answers

• Xigbar eavesdrops on everyone's life and practices sniping.
• Xaldin plans on how to destroy the love in the worlds, writes in his depressed diary and messes with Beast.
• Vexen... We all know what Vexen does. He EXPERIMENTS. With EVERYTHING.
• Lexaeus... ... ... He only trusts Zexion. And I guess he... smashed... enemies with boulders?
• Zexion reads, practices: evil/depressing speeches, science, illusions, etc. And he keeps secrets.
• Saïx practices berserk and how to injure Hearts.
• Axel brings Roxas and Xion back.
• Demyx plays his sitar and hides from Saïx.
• Luxord plays... a fair game?
• Marluxia plots against Xemnas. And is a hitman. (The Graceful Assassin!!!) Oh, and he doesn't want his Heart back.
• Larxene practices electroshock therapy... Doesn't want he Heart back either, and plots with Marluxia.
• Roxas... Does what he did in 358/2 Days, I guess.
• Xion attempts suicide by cop every time she can...
