I never lost in Final Fantasy X-2. And in Final Fantasy X once I developed a strategy, I was unstoppable. Yunalesca didn't know what hit her. Although I didn't even need my strategy against the final boss, I was just too powerful I blew them away with a few hits.

I know what you mean. Being able to sit there forever deciding what to do next added to it all, too, heheh...

Every FF past VI is pretty easy. If you're looking for a challenge, go look for III (And don't get it confused with the North American name for VI) or something

Honestly, FF isn't really THAT hard of a franchise overall, as long as you invest some time in it.

I defeated a couple, couldn't be stuffed with the rest.

Yeah the game maybe isn't that hard but for me it's harder than FFVII and FFX which was really easy.

I dont like Final Fantasy series, but I played VII and XIII and XIII is complete bull****, VII was the time of youth. Now XIII.... yup.

They were easy still great games to me.

VII is sooooo overrated just because Sephiroth shown his Queen of Beauty face and later on the milked FFVII with various spin-offs and a movie

 

VII is such an overrated crap that can't stand to today's RPG standards.The Only FF game that I think it's a masterpiece is Final Fantasy IX.It was fresh and creative and Zidane was awesome not an Emo like Cloud who replies to everything with one sentence:Not interested

Hm... how much extra stuff did you do exactly? Get any celestial weapons? Sidequests? Did you use the Quick Hit trick? Did you get many optional overdrives?

Becuase another thing I should note is that FF games are generally judged by their difficulty for playing the game normally, doing minimal optional stuff (though it is still generally agreed upon that FFVI and beyond are much easier than the first five)

I agree that VII was pretty overrated. But it wasn't horrible over all. And in Cloud's defense, he wasn't a complete emo in the original FFVII.

and the FFVII is a good game but it is overrated (I hate Cloud but I love Zack)and it wasn't hard to beat too.

 

And all the FF before the FFVI were more dificult just for the fact that you couldn't take two steps without having a fight, and the save points in the dungeons were awfully far one of another, but that is all.

 

the strategy to beat any FF is level up all your characters, and that's it.

The no savepoint thing is the only reason why I can't finish Sylx Tower in FF3. "Fighting 4 minibosses and then the final boss after climbing an hour-long dungeon without saving" my ass. >>

Final Fantasy 3 is very hard if you want a challenge though the story is basically not there same with the character development. People have said that FF IV DS is hard though personally I found easy so I can't agree with that one.

 

Yes Final Fantasy 7 is over-rated It's okay game but not the BST JRPG GAME EVAR MADE 111 !

 

And Sephiroth and Cloud stink. Kefka is ten times better and actually I think I have a odd crush on him. IT'S THE SNES GRAPHICS THEY MAKE HIM LOOK CUTE.

Edit- Cloud is too depressing and the original game he's a huge brat and it's so annoying that Tifa and Aerith put him on a pedestal because of his looks and "coolness " even though he treats like dirt and even tells Aerith RIGHT TO HER FACE that she's a woman and therefore she can't do dirt and should stay home. No Cloud, no.

I can fully understand why some people hate XIII and I'm fine with that but the FF fanbase isn't for a reason I don't know.They always B.S you with all kind of profanity if they knew that you love what they hate and hate some of what they love.

 

I liked the FFVII spin-offs but I couldn't bring myself to like the original FFVII I felt it was sooo overrated and soo slow-paced compared to FFIV and FFIX my two favorites FF games.

The biggest pain in FFX was the thunderbolt challenge and the chocobo challenge. I did not like FFX2, but it was... eh.

Haven't played X-2 yet, but FFX was definitely easier than some of the older Final Fantasies. I mean seriously, it seems that the game's holding your hand through pretty much everything. Not saying it's a bad game, but personally I prefer the more challenging gameplay that earlier FF titles offered.

 

As for FFVII, a lot of people differ on that one. Some people love it, others hate it. I'd like to say I'm pretty neutral myself. Was it the best RPG I've ever played? It was *one* of the best, yes, though I'd be hard-pressed to say it was "the utmost number one" best. I preferred FFVI, but I won't say that there weren't some things about the end to FFVII that attracted me. I will admit that the first ten hours of FFVII sucked though; made me put down the game for months before I picked it back up to finish it again.

Agreed. Zack is much better than Cloud, although Cloud is pretty badass too.

I guess I sucked at FFX,I had A LOT of trouble beating that game,I can't remember how many times I died at the 3rd Seymour fight(the battle on the snow mountain) and don't get me started on the Final Aeon fight,I had to backtrack to gain more levels,I was one of the hardest FF to me.Lol

I thought X was easy until the end, It was sorda challenging. XIII though is very challenging once you get to chapter 11
