November 5, 201212 yr Popular Post Music is one of those many subjects you wish you had a "B button" to cancel some of their crappy evolution.
November 5, 201212 yr What are you talking about guys? Bad decisions put to song are great! (sarcasm)
November 5, 201212 yr There's good music out there...well, if you listen to rock, metal, or anything non-mainstream that is.... As for pop and hip-hop/r&b....I'll tell you what happened: quality. It's GONE. Dead and gone. Edited November 5, 201212 yr by Firaga96
November 5, 201212 yr Music Now I only ever listen to piano music. It's so elegant and classy, yet soothing and comforting. And lol at the smug face.
November 5, 201212 yr Music is one of those many subjects you wish you had a "B button" to cancel some of their crappy evolution. But alas, "B" is the jump button in this case.
November 6, 201212 yr My friends introduced me to the "Hardcore" music genre. Now it is the only music I really listen to. It's not about drugs, sex, and all that crap. I love it! Most of the "popular" music on the radio, I cannot stand.

November 6, 201212 yr Popular Post Music never left. It is, as it has always been, in a constant state of reflection the society and artists which create it.
November 6, 201212 yr Modern mainstream music is no less pandering than Kingdom Hearts, it just applies to other people... ...are you actually complaining that song talks about doing something dangerous o.O
November 6, 201212 yr Why would you care about lyrics? Go and listen poetry. Music is very subjective thing, just because you think it's bad doesn't mean that it is. And what comes to "oh my god music is dead" Atleast for me this has been so rich year for music, I can't say that it's dead and anywhere close to it. I have to admit though that I have heard some of the most frustrating songs ever this year aswell, but there is nothing that forces me to listen it. Just listen to this: Or this: Or perhaps this?

November 17, 201212 yr Music died a long time ago. yeah, remember Don McLean wrote a song about it? I think the problem here isn't with our individual preferences, but with evolution. The 'mainstream' tracks and 'radio tunes' are played and aired in every ad and opportunity due to their popularity - that is to say, a HUGE number of people who buy / listen / request the songs to make them so popular.... therefore 'pop' or 'mainstream'. Whilst that is annoying, the scary thing is is that apparently that's what people of the western world WANT TO HEAR on the most part.... scarier still, might even be inspired by! The issue is people's imaginations are dying and tastes growing drier. When will this end? I personally wouldn't mind all music past the end of 1989 to have never happened.... Sorry..... kinda ranted there, didn't I?
November 17, 201212 yr Autotune happened. Now it doesn't take any real effort to be talented, just fix your voice on a computer. :I Edit: Just as with all other works in the media, there will always be good artists out there. Edited November 17, 201212 yr by _The Door To Light_
November 17, 201212 yr I don't get why you should complain about music owo. I honestly don't understand anything about why it's something people obsess about. I don't find it like "artistic" in most cases. I just listen to a song and if I like the sound I'll listen again o3o guys this may sound as a surprise to you but MUSIC HAS ALWAYS SUCKED I dunno why I find this amusing...
November 17, 201212 yr i dont know what happened to music but i stay away from the radio there's still some good songs out there
