Why are we getting most of our explanations from interviews? Tiem travel was in KH2. There's even some implicit stuff about DDD's version of Time Travel in the secret endingBesides that, the Mysterious Figure is the most obvious clue Interesting. This seems like a response to my post. No offense, but I actually have no idea who you are I usually make ideas for topics to post here about two weeks in advance
November 8, 201212 yr I hate Time Travel and nothing will make me ever like it ..It's just my personal opinion .I have yet to like it in any game where this is included . Edited November 8, 201212 yr by Flaming Lea

I really want to know.
November 8, 201212 yr Author Wait, explain how some tiny clues in KH2's secret ending were hints of Time Travel? I really want to know. Xemnas' armour/dragon thing, as well as Sora, Riku and Mickey's keyblades making an appearance I'm pretty sure that some of the quotes that flash up suggest it as well, but I can't remember anything specific I hate Time Travel and nothing will make me ever like it ..It's just my personal opinion .I have yet to like it in any game where this is included . Chrono TriggerRadiant Historia PLAY THEM SOOO GOOOOD

But MF wasn't even properly explained until, wait for it, INTERVIEWS.
November 8, 201212 yr Author So mostly KH Birth by Sleep? But MF wasn't even properly explained until, wait for it, INTERVIEWS. he clearly used time travel for his attacks
November 8, 201212 yr InB4 Flaming Lea (considering what she said about time travel in the last thread). To FL: I agree with the time travel thing though. Except i never said DDD being rushed was why there is Time Travel ..I just think its crappy to use period .I expected better from Nomura and was disappointed ..I didnt even like it in Timeless River Xemnas' armour/dragon thing, as well as Sora, Riku and Mickey's keyblades making an appearance I'm pretty sure that some of the quotes that flash up suggest it as well, but I can't remember anything specific Chrono Trigger Radiant Historia PLAY THEM SOOO GOOOOD I will have to check them out then let you know
November 8, 201212 yr he clearly used time travel for his attacks Well whoop de do. A lot of enemies use stopping time in attacks.Stop is even a magic. Edited November 8, 201212 yr by Number XV

November 8, 201212 yr it's different for one thing, he has an hourglass motif Whoop the firetrucking do.So then let's introduce a CONFUSING PLOT POINT THE NEXT GAME WITH TWO (IF) BARELY-COUNTING-AS HINTS. It's just, to me, they ruined a part of the fun. How has it become some overarching grand scheme? MF was just confusing. He wasn't a great hint.

November 8, 201212 yr whooping doesn't really change the point. it's clear that time travel was thought of in advance Maybe barely thought of, if at all.. It seemed like in the interviews, Nomura was finally realizing what he was getting in to.
November 8, 201212 yr But Time Travel helped make it an incoherent story. The thing is, they just introduced it so suddenly. Where were the hints before now? Why are we getting most of our explanations from interviews? They always introduce plot points suddennly and without hints (Oh, Xehanort is really an old man possessing another keyblade wielder. Also there are other keyblade wielders. And Xehanort is a keyblade wielder. Also the X-blade. Wat. And Aqua's boobs. No one was prepared for that.). And most of our information has always been from interviews. Keep in mind that we are viewing the game from the point of view of the heroes, who are themselves very confused and sort of just going through only half knowing what they are doing. It's been pretty apparent for a while now that Xehanort has had a scary amount of control over the events going on in the Kingdom Hearts universe, and now we partially know why. Having said that, the time travel explanations were a little shaky and the rules slightly unclear...I'm not sure Square knows how to properly handle time travel...but in the long run, it does sort of make sense. Sort of. There's the main point of how he was able to bring his different selves forward in time and why they wouldn't have to go back like YX would; and also, whether or not this is possible outside of the dream world, or if the dream world was just a convenient way for them to do it... And also, yeah, Myterious Figure should have been a pretty big hint that the next main game would probably include time travel. I even heard rumors around BBS time that Mickey was supposed to be time traveling... (back when we thought unversed were "unbirths")

So for the final battle are they going into the dream world to fight the 'norts or are they going to break 30 more rules. Seriously, Lea coming back was like the near-final straw.
November 8, 201212 yr ..I just think its crappy to use period. That's what I was talking about. Anyway, Its OK to not like time travel.
